Booked an overnight stay and dinner for my birthday. Perfect location for a stroll around Shaftesbury with parking, but we booked because of the hotel restaurant. Room was clean, cosy and comfortable, the hotel had character. The restaurant was excellent, with faultless service from the time we spent in the bar deciding on our choices to coffee and petit fours there after dinner. Great food and very good value. My venison was excellent and the wine of the month a great recommendation. Breakfast was exceptional - plenty of choice and prepared to order. Very happy to recommend.

Really great everyone is so friendly, rooms are very clean and up to excellent standards. The food is brilliant very kind waiters. Reasonable price for the hotel with breakfast included. Only thing I would say is parking is very limited and extremely tight drive way wouldn’t recommend big cars.

Lovely hotel. Decorated very tasteful for christmas. Room was lovely and some nice special touches. Breakfast was delicious. We even had a christmas card from them. Thoroughly recommend.

Just a one night stay while we were in town for a show. Very freindly welcome, lovley room with a very comfortable bed and an outstanding English breakfast. Just a couple of minutes walk into town. Would highly recommend.

A lovely small hotel with excellent food and service. All rooms we had were very nicely presented with all amenities including charging station, tea & coffee facilities and a fridge. We needed some assistance with a few things and the staff were brilliant at helping us get solutions for our issues.

Wry good stay. Traffic Oise rather irksome but otherwise a beautiful hotel and excellent service and a warm welcome.

Felt respected as a guest, that they appreciated your booking. Breakfast menu first class as well as presentation. Room had little extras such as a fridge, bottled waters, milk as well as cookies, ground coffee. Bathroom extras and dressing gowns. Tight side driveway to rear car park need to be careful. Owners interacted in conversation and were interested in what you were saying. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Wow! What a find. A lovely quiet haven. So clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were fab. Two mins to town centre. Wee couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend it for a quiet getaway.

I warned that I might be late on arriving. I was very moved by the care of the owners who had closed the curtains and put a light on when I arrived. The instructions to ensure the hotel is kept safe and secure is great. Owners are helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again, and I recommend anyone who is considering coming.
