The good news is that our room was available for early check in. The bad news is that we were placed in a room in the far back bowels of the hotel. We knew it was a bad sign when none of the hall lights worked and we had to keep walking, and walking. Our room smelled like a boat head that needed to be emptied combined with stale mildew, the bed was extremely hard and the room overlooked the most depressing courtyard you have ever seen. The shower head shot water all over the bathroom as it was not operating properly. When we told the front desk we were immediately given a new room as if they were aware of the issue (why place us there in the first place?). Our new room was extremely small and paint was peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom. The same bad smell pervaded, although not as strong. The hall lights do not work and the decorations in the hallways are covered in dust. Because of these conditions we didn't dare eat breakfast here, although the lobby looked nice. Additionally, we were scheduled to also stay later in the week but changed our reservation. If you stay here request a room overlooking the street.
