Everything was good and fresh

The rooms and hotel were clean. There are no elevators so be warned but we knew that coming in. The hotel is located on a small street and you might miss it if you walk too fast but it is close to all major attractions! The breakfast buffet is decent but gets you off to a good start for the day. You don’t hear any noise from other guests. Just overall chef’s kiss. If we return to Florence — this will be our go to spot.

Fast internet and good breakfast. The cleaning staff was warm and kind however the front desk staff was cold and unfriendly.

Clean room and all hotel needs met at a very reasonable price. Great breakfast options and excellent location. Excellent, helpful and trustworthy staff willing to go out of their way to assist. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice boutique hotel minutes from the train station, Mercato Centrale, and Duomo. Lots of restaurant and shopping options. You couldn't beat the location. We took a taxi from the station to the hotel, but really it is so walkable so don't do that. The beds were a bit hard and the room decor minimal, but the room itself was clean. Note that there are no elevators. We stayed twice. The first time we knew that we would have to carry our luggage up stairs to reception, then our room was on the same floor which was perfect. The second time we were on the third floor. Staff carried our luggage up for us thank goodness, but we were definitely more strategic when planning to go back and forth to our room since it was quite a hike. The hotel itself was situated near everything. We walked everywhere. Overall it was a nice stay.

Wonderful experience! Not only was breakfast exceptional, our room was perfect as well. But what reaĺy made our time at the hotel and Florence unforgettable was Alessandro at front desk. He truly made us feel welcome in so many ways. He went way beyond our expectations to be so much more more than helpful. Besides giving us fabulous advice on restaurants and a close by washateria, he enthusiasticly reccomended churches and attractions to see that we are so thrilled we didn't miss. The cherry on top was the time and effort he spent online and on the phone getting us in to see David. We had tried online before our trip to get tickets, but thought they were sold out. Not only was he able to get us tickets to see David but clued us in on a better ticket that included more museums and attractions. Thank you sir! We feel like we have a friend named Alessandro in Florence. Mike and Sue

This hotel was perfect for us; very well located in the middle of many restaurants and some night life (not too much). Hotel room and bathroom very clean, breakfast was nicely served and hotel staff very nice. I would definitely recommend it.

Staff are very friendly. After knowing we may leave early in the morning, they moved breakfast schedule earlier

The place was absolutely wonderful; nice big room, comfortable, had everything we needed and well-kept and appointed. Staff was friendly and absolutely lovely; took the time to talk and I was able to practice my Italian with very lovely and fiendly staff who took the time to talk and offer help whenever needed. Finally, the breakfast was perfect. Great items and plenty of variety. Nice freshly baked items and capuccino, even gluten free options if desired. Finally, centrally located close to everything. Could not have asked for anything more. Thank you so much to Hotel Accademia for making this a pefect stay in this beautiful city!!!
