I hardly leave reviews, and never negative - but i feel obligated to warn people who spend so much money and time coming to Cannes. Ac did not work, rooms were dirty and they lost a part of our reservation so we needed to find another property which was a nightmare. They werent accountable to losing the reservation either, blaming some former employee. Do not stay here, I have no clue how they have 3 stars... it was really, really bad.

Place is in the heart of it all. Rooms are small but clean. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Price is fair. Great trip

Great location!! Right by the train station and close to the beach. Plenty of restaurants around as well. There wasn’t a window in the place and some small insects which weren’t annoying but were there.

This was a terrible hotel. I arrived at my check in exhausted from travel and was handed my room key. I was surprised when I got to the room to see a very small full size bed when I had booked two twins. I went downstairs and was told that the bed just needed to be separated and that they would fix it and dress the other bed. I returned to the room to find two of the skinniest twin beds (think small size full bed and then separate into two beds. Like 2/3rds of a normal twin size bed) Okay, fair enough at least there are two beds. Upon a closer look, it was clear to me that they just put fresh sheets on the one single and kept the other sheets on the other single because it was covered in brown hair. Gross. I went downstairs and explained to the man at the desk that there was filthy sheets on one of the beds and the sheets were not changed. He said he was sorry and explained that they are short on help? WHAT? You are short on help so you make people sleep on dirty sheets? Ugh. I asked for new sheets and I changed my sheets myself. The next day we were left one towel. I went downstairs and asked for another towel and the man at the desk said that there was nothing he could do because it was too late and it was just him at the desk. I asked why our room would only have one towel for two beds. He said he can't get me another towel. So my friend and I had to share one towel after making our own beds. This place is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Very close to/convenient for both the railway station and the airport bus. Within easy walking walking distance of shopping , beaches and restaurants.

My friend had a balcony overlooking the hotel entrance which, unfortunately, on a couple of nights was a bit noisy. My room looking towards the train station was quiet, clean and compact (ie not much room between the bed and the dressing table)!! The bathrooms were both immaculate. The Reception staff were friendly and ultra helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was really good with balcony. The location of the hotel is excellent.

I chose the Amiraute because of its superbly convenient location, directly opposite the bus and train stations. I found that it was also no more than 5 minutes' walk from the promenade, La Croisette, as well as being perfectly placed for many shops and restaurants. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, the breakfasts were basic but adequate, and my room (No. 24) had the unexpected bonus of a private balcony. Overall, absolutely spot on for the price.

The staff were amazing. All the ladies treated us with respect and were so welcoming. Location was perfect, groceries near by, shopping near by, walkable. The room could be a bit bigger, but was perfect for a one night sleep on a road trip through France.

Lovely welcome. Tidy and smart room. Very clean, and all that we required from a room. Very close to train station and main areas in Cannes which was ideal for a short break. Did not use eating facilities (hence not able to give 5 stars to overall and service) BUT looked very nice indeed. Would stay again definitely.

Two night stay to sample the French Riveria. Too short to give a full review. Public beach facilities poor - We walked back the ten minutes to the hotel to change. We also had to buy a cheap beach towel. otherwise what coud we not love about Cannes with a sandy beach!

Nice little hotel just across from train station. Comfortable bed, nice shower with good water pressure. Friendly and helpful staff.
