The staff were friendly and helpful while always remaining professional. Among my "must-haves" are good pillows and high-end linens. Both were provided. Our stay was perfect and we will definitely book here for our next trip to London!

Really enjoyed our stay here. It is a boutique hotel and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. We loved our room - very comfortable bed, great a/c (which was important because it was very hot), nice bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, stylish hotel in a great location.

This is a lovely hotel in a convenient South Kensington location. The rooms are large and well-appointed, with air conditioning and a walk-in shower, both of which can be hard to find at an affordable price in London. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is warmly helpful and will pour you a drink no matter how late you return at night. They encourage you to think of the hotel as your home, and to ask for anything you need. I highly recommend 54 Queen's Gate and would happily return.

Absolutely loved our short stay in this beautiful hotel. Quirky and boutique, it is perfectly located for anybody wanting to visit the South Kensington area which of course includes the wonderful museums and the Royal Albert Hall which is only 10 minutes walk away. A warm welcome, immaculately clean spacious and really comfortable room, super bathroom with a great shower and lovely large soft fluffy towels, tea and coffee making facilities in the room which were very welcome, air conditioning which was also much appreciated and a smashing breakfast all contributed to make this a really super stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and its lovely staff.

We had a lovely stay at 54 Queens Gate. The staff were so helpful and polite and the room was lovely. The hotel is in a great location. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, friendly and very helpful staff. Rooms were well appointed and air conditioning systems worked well. Breakfast was limited but fine.

The hotel is a five minute walk from Gloucester Road Tube and close to Kensington Palace and the Albert Hall. There are shops and restaurants within ten minutes walk. The room interior was very clean and the bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean, the shower was super powerful and hot, the towels were large, but the room would benefit from having a makeup mirror. The reception and bar areas were elegantly decorated and comfortable. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only minor quibbles - our room was on the ground floor between the reception/bar and the dining area. We stayed on Friday and Saturday nights and it was quite noisy from early in the morning. And we had a small balcony which would have been lovely, had it not been covered by pigeon guano which was quite unpleasant. But, on the whole we had a very pleasant stay and we would stay here again.

Room was small but okay. Soundproofing not great - there was noise from the corridor that woke me up late at night and early in the morning. The latch on the bathroom window was broken which meant it could be opened from the outside, and the room was on the ground floor, which was not great. On arrival at the property my card was pre-authorised with 5% of the room rate, which was presented as just in case I used any items from the fridge; on departure this was instead described as an optional service charge. Costs should be inclusive of this; pay your staff properly and be up front about the cost!

I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately the experience was pretty mixed. This hotel has a great location and friendly staff, which were definite positives. The themed rooms are fun and our balcony was great, though the decor felt a bit dated. The lounge area was also nice. Unfortunately, there were several drawbacks. There was major sidewalk and building construction outside, making it difficult to reach the front entrance. The rooms are quite small with almost no storage—no dresser or place to put clothes. The bathroom fan didn’t work, the walls were very thin (we could hear our neighbors’ phone notifications/tv/toilet flushes), and amenities were minimal aside from basic toiletries attached to the shower wall. The elevator setup is also inconvenient—guests on upper floors have to switch elevators, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The biggest issue for me was that we had to leave two days early. Although we booked through Expedia and prepaid, the hotel ultimately decides on refunds. I wasn’t expecting a full refund, but a partial refund for the unused nights would have been appreciated. They declined. Overall, I found the hotel pretty bare-bones and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids, elderly travelers, or anyone with mobility issues.

The staff are lovely, the location is great and it’s good value. It’s a lovely place to stay, our only negative is that the pillows and bed were not very comfortable. The bed felt like two beds pushed together so there was a hard ridge in the middle.

Staff was extremely helpful when I had a work emergency.

The staff were very welcoming and courteous. The hotel itself was very clean and being so close to a tube station and the Natural History museum is a big bonus. Our room was very clean, although the only comment to have about the experience was I wis there was more milk and sugar in the rooms as you quickly run out with a single drink and there weren’t any sugars or sweeteners in ours. Otherwise great for our short stay and would come again.
