Would recommend very clean, tidy and great location.

We had a 3 night stay in June. Overall, it’s a very good hotel, in a great location, an easy walk to the beach and the town centre, with good car access to other WW2 beaches and monuments along the coast. Friendly helpful staff and lovely grounds and large outdoor seating area for bar drinks. Easy parking on site. We were disappointed with our room, which was poorly designed, and a quite dark because we did not have a window in the main room, but a glazed door to a small shady patio. The en-suite was very spacious, well equipped and had a big window. Patio overlooked an overgrown area of orchard behind the hotel (Room 16).

A truly wonderful hotel, in walking distance of the centre of Arromanches. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room and hotel amenities were all well presented. The swimming pool is lovely, as in the garden setting area. Breakfast was a beautiful cold selection of local and home made products, as well as hot scrambled eggs and bacon. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful building with amazing views. Only a very short walk into Arromanches. The room was a good size and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

We chose this as a base for Dday activities (over Bayeux). No regrets. The room was spacious with a view of the sea. The staff was lovely and we could walk into Arromanches in about 5 minutes, which had shops, restaurants, and a museum which provided great information on naval landings (Overlord and Dragoon) which we didn’t get anywhere else (all outside the museum).

It’s a fantastic place to stay when visiting Normandy- it’s a well positioned hotel to all the historical venues. The rooms are upgraded and shower is hot and great pressure. Bathrooms are decent size. Close walk to town for dinners and souvenir shopping. Breakfast to good and staff is very friendly and proficient with English. Highly recommend for the price. M

Outdoor patio, bar and breakfast areas were wonderful. The rooms were very small and no air conditioning. Great location and loved the fresh baked croissants in the morning.

This property was like our private house. The staff were super friendly. We especially enjoyed our wine in the courtyard. A summer approaches. I’m sure the pool will come in handy. If ever, we are in this area again, we would certainly choose to stay here again until next time.

Breakfast was excellent. Having evening drinks on the outside patio was very nice & the staff was welcoming and professional. We would stay there again.

The room was quite small, so if you have a lot of luggage that might be a problem, but we had a lovely view of the ocean from the bedroom and even the bathroom. There was no elevator to get to our room so we had to carry large heavy bags up the stairs, which we'd have planned for if we'd known that. Breakfast was delicious, the staff was very helpful and even made restaurant reservations for us months in advance, plus the location was great. We'd definitely go back there.

Perfect for our short stay in Arromanches and surrounding areas. Quiet area, just a short walk to the beach and town, with convenient car parking. Our room was clean with a modern en-suite. We would return.
