Just grestservice

Very picturesque property with nice outdoor seating area. Hotel set in a beautiful area. Room very worn and in need of make over. Floor was lifting and bubbled and needs maintenance. Wifi was an additional charge and was the worst ever experienced! Did not participate in breakfast as additional charge, did not use the gym or pool area as additional charge. All quite disappointing at nearly £100 per night!

The food was equisite

Lovely hotel, staff friendly, restaurant exceptional. Room clean with good facilities but very small with sliding door between the bed and bathroom which didn’t quite cover the gap and was broken so was swinging. Also walls very thin could hear everything !

Hostellerie des Ducs is an extraordinary place, managed by extraordinarily kind and generous people. The cuisine is out of this world and deserves stars and praises. I could not recommend it more highly. I travel a lot but this kind of hospitality is so above and beyond it’s worth writing and raving about. Thank you!

Great food and nice family run establishment .

The hotel was very nice, but the room extremely small. The bed was comfortable but small, maybe a double? Everything was very clean including the bathroom. Breakfast was awesome, breads, jams, egg, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and more. Very peaceful, great walking for the town of Duras. We also had dinner, duck, and tuna. It was good but duck could have been more tender and tuna was a bit dry.

Convenient one night stay to visit Duras Chateaux

Second time to stay here. Nice big room, very clean and overall very lovely.

Pleasantly surprised, we normally do not stay at a 3 star hotel, but the suite at the Logis was beautiful. Clean, spacious and very updated, amazing shower!!

The proprietors were very welcoming and the place was very clean. The gardens are beautiful and staff very helpful.

Had a lovely stay. Wonderful food but found you need to be down early to dinner for best tables. Well appointed room with air con.

As soon as we arrived we had a very warm welcome as if we were family friends. Great service and great location in this market town. The staff were very helpful when there was an issue with the hotel.com booking.

This hotel is ideally located to walk into Duras and the beautiful chateaux. We had no complaints during our stay - the single room had simple modern decor with very good ensuite facilities. The restaurant offers a very high standard of food which is excellent - but there are options in the town if you prefer something simpler. Pool and garden area very relaxing and a welcome relief in the heat.

rooms were small basic but clean.We didnt eat in the restaurant as we were visiting relatives but we were sorely disappointed it looked like a fantastic eating experience.

The hotel was in a good location, but was not special in any other way. The 3 members of staff varied in demeanour, one being dour, another being helpful and happy and the 3rd somewhere in between. The food was good.
