Great hotel friendly and helpfull staff very pleased with room clean comfortable will be back again

Very nice desk clerk. Hotel old a bit dated but it was what I needed when I needed it and the location was so darn convenient everything worked out. Not sure how children would like the place as it was quiet and people did what they came to do and went to bed.

Very friendly reception, trying to find the best room for our needs! When I opened the patio door; a gust of wind brought in pollen, the young lady at the desk came and personally took care of vacuuming even tho she was busy! THat is good service!

Very helpful check-in, and allowed us to store our bikes in a spare room.

Small comfortable hotel with a clean comfortable bedroom. Toilet very adequate. Several restaurants in close proximity. Friendly and helpful hosts. Somewhat disappointed with breakfast. Very good parking.

We had a family room with 4 beds which was perfect for travelling with small children

Just the one night stay as we travelled from Spain to northern England. It’s very easy to find a couple of minutes drive off the motorway. The receptionist was nice and spoke English, great, as I don’t speak french! The room was clean and tidy with a little outside terrace, and there was a swimming pool too. We didn’t use the restaurant for breakfast or evening meals, but it looked okay. There are 3 or 4 other hotels nearby and a couple of restaurants. It’s about 30 minutes walk into the town centre of Saintes, so would recommend a taxi. The town of Saintes is absolutely beautiful with lots of restaurants, shops and a river with pleasure cruises, we were quite amazed.

Stop off for one night on our way back from Spain to the Uk for a few days. Easy to find from the motorway and an ideal cheap and cheerful stayover. Very helpful young lady on reception. Steak chain restaurant next door and patisserie next to that. Very good all round for the price!

A very basic hotel fronted by a pleasant efficient receptionist. Building appeared like recently refurbished but on the cheap. Room not very spacious with only one chair for sitting. Bed very comfortable and clean. Bathroom just adequate. Breakfast was plentiful and best part of stay. No hair dryer. No tea making facility. Would not use again.

It was a quick stop over en route to the ferry but we were very glad we found it, it's a great little find. Very easy to get to from the motorway, ample parking, very friendly reception. Room was large and comfortable with French doors opening onto a small patio with table and chairs. A security roller blind was usable at night so the room felt very safe. The shower was excellent, the wifi was reliable and fast and there was an excellent continental breakfast available.

This was a stopover, travelling from Spain to UK. Hotel is functional. Comfortable bed. Steak restaurant a few yards away. Booked because it was very close to the route I was taking. It's just a few minutes from the main road between Bordeaux and Paris, Rouen, Le Havre etc.

Half way stop to the Pyrenees. Staff were welcoming, helpful & informative. We were remembered on return journey.

An ideal stopover. Hidden so hard to find but by the autoroute. Out of town but close to supermarket, petrol etc. Excellent service. Good room. Restaurant next door. Recommended.

A good hotel for the price. The friendliness and service of the staff was superlative. Easy access to the highway, yet very quiet. Less than five minutes by car to downtown Saintes. Would highly recommend this hotel.
