Wonderful cute room and hotel, super nice staff, and the welcome drink and tapas was a really nice touch

Amazing hotel, right in the best location in Saint Maxime. The rooms are brand new and everything works perfectly. Rooms are a little bit small, but that's ok. Staff very freindly. There is parking right in front if needed. Willd efinitely come back again!

Location and experience was great. Staff was very friendly. Only complaint was that we had a family room and the AC unit did absolutely nothing to cool down the bunk bed area, only the main bedroom. Probably not a huge issue year round but in the high summer season we struggled to sleep.

Beautiful property, wonderful lobby, amazing art, very comfortable well furnished big room, amazing buffet breakfast, one block from beach, this is the only place I would ever stay again in Saint Maxime

The roomwas very small. Access to the pool area was via a footwell which was approx 15cm deep. Impossibe for a wheelchair user and difficult for everyone else.

Location, room, services, breakfast, free drinks and nibbles around 7pm, charming pool - the pool tiles looked dirty, so was the pool water; the hotel was too quiet, some soft music can be played in the background at breakfast or drinks time or at the pool.

We can back to this hotel because we really loved it the first time and we weren’t disappointed. Comfortable bed, great air conditioning and lovely staff.

After a late 1.30am arrival, my wife and I were welcomed and quickly checked in by the friendly and efficient reception team. The Matisse is perfectly located within easy walking distance to the beach as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. We were especially impressed by the daily aperitif hour where complimentary wine and snacks were served, a lovely touch.

Great small boutique hotel in a great area full of dinning options and shops. The family room was huge and very well kept. I went to St Tropez that was actually like 15 minutes away. If you are going for few days I would recommend this hotel. Price was great vs actual place.

The hotel is very nice and the staff are very attentive. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The only problem was our mattress was so very old and completely broken with a few springs broken. It was survivable for 2 nights but desperately needs replacing!

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Matisse. Very centrally located to the centre of Sainte Maxime. The hotel is less than a 2min walk to restaurants and shops. The room was a nice size as was the bathroom. Very clean and beach-like colors. Breakfast buffet was simple but nice. Loved sitting on the outdoor patio with the complimentary evening wine & snacks. Reception staff was friendly. Didn’t use pool because it required walking thru backed up water that was only drained at 10-11pm. This was truly my only complaint. Everything else was perfect. Will definitely stay there again

We were very pleased with our stay. Staff was very nice and we were a walking distance of main streets and a lot of restaurants.
