Parking is a little tricky, and expensive with a larger vehicle (SUV) but convenient and safe. The facility is definitely older, but well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and polite.

The best thing about this hotel is location. You can easily walk to city center, BUT the rooms are old. We found our room and bathroom clean, but the sheets and towels were extremely old and need to be updated.

This is not a 3 star hotel level. It is more like a serviced apartment than a hotel. There is no concierge at the front entrance and anybody can go up to the room level from outside. There is key entry to the passage outside the rooms but it is easy to follow someone in. Noise carries down the passage from late night talkers .

The location of this hotel was excellent. It felt very authentically Italian. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfasts as the staff made us an unlimited supply of coffees. The breakfast room appeared to be a meeting place for locals too so it had a nice atmosphere.

Friendly and helpful staff and very well located. However, the room smelled really weird every single day and the bed is probably the most uncomfortable one I have ever slept in.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, I was greeted by my name as I walked in which was a nice touch. The rooms were outdated but clean and sufficient for what I needed, they also reflected the price. I would stay here again. Breakfast was basic but again reflected in the price. The streets outside were noisy so didn’t get much sleep.

Staff at check-in and check-out was friendly, helpful and fluent in English. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Buffet continental breakfast was delicious and beautifully set up. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Did not use their Fitness area, Laundry or Parking service.

It's a good hotel. It offers a range of rooms, and the modernised ones merit the higher price. This stay was in an older single room, but it was OK. More spacious in fact than the usual single room; some hotels would have crammed a double in there. Hot water was always available from a cistern within the bathroom. The overhead heating worked and was needed as the room faced north and had a louvre window in the bathroom. Fridge but no kettle. The room had a view of a courtyard with flats close opposite. The reception staff were excellent and spoke English. No English channels on the TV but I didn't visit to watch TV. The location is a mixture of business, residential and shopping areas. However, it did include plenty of cafes and restaurants. It is also close to the principal north-south bus route on Vias Liberta/Roma and the airport bus stop at Politeama. Breakfast was a buffet, more sweet than savoury, in the Italian manner. All in all I would consider staying there again.

A great hotel close to where our office is, the rooms were adequate and clean, and the area was quiet. The lift broke down on the last night which meant walking up 5 flights, but otherwise the staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend this hotel as a basic hotel.

Hospitality at elite was top notch. We switched to this hotel from the nearby nightmare, hotel libera and we so happy we did. We were greeted with a cappuccino and some cookies as a welcome and a decent clean room well before official check in time.

Being co-located in a building with other hotels, the experience starts off differently than most. The reception is disconnected from the elevator. That was a first for us. The walls of the halls and rooms have hand painted watercolour murals on them. Very nice. The locks on the doors are non-intuitive. This is obviously an issue with many guests as they went through how to get into the room in great detail. Probably just a problem with this North American trying to interact with Sicilian locks.

Elite is a typical 3 star hotel and does everything it says on the tin without any extras. Its main benefit is its location, only a few minutes walk from some of the main sight-seeing locations, plus near plenty of restaurants and cafes. The room I was in was a few metres from another building and the only window looked across into someone's flat. Consequently, it felt awkward to roll up the blind and I left it down, which meant that the room was dark. Beyond that, breakfast was adequate but really this is a hotel that you will only use to rest after a day's worth of sight-seeing and no more. Staff were able to communicate in basic English, and helpful enough.

Nice hotel in the center of Palermo, very convenient for walking to nearby attractions, dining, shopping and for public transport / trains. Friendly staff and good continental breakfast. The city center is a bit of a drive from the airport, costs about 50 euro for a taxi.
