Loved everything from the room to all the staff

Great weeks stay. Breakfast was large and lots of choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. There was a bus stop one minute away to get to the city or other areas and very efficient and reasonable. They run quite late. there is an express bus to Funchal that misses all the little stops that is worth knowing about as it's only 20 minutes. Pool was clean, although not heated so couldn't utilise it as much as I had hoped to, although I imagine most of the year it's not needed. Great views of the planes too. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was close to the local amenities and transport. Hotel was lovely and clean and the hotel library had a beautiful cave with plants. The coffee was awful but there was a nice cafe next door

Very convenient for the airport, good breakfast. Easy walk into town which was pretty quiet.

Really great staff, great location, quite a nice location. They even provided a very-early breakfast for an early flight and took care to receive our luggage after the airline lost it.

We stayed in September and the service was faultless however this time it wasn’t as good. This may have been due to Covid or the time of year but the difference was noticeable. It’s still a lovely, friendly hotel however not the 10/10 it was earlier in the year

Weather was a pleasant 22/23 degrees at the end which is appreciated at this time of year. Hotel was clean and and staff were very helpful. Hotel is 2 min,s walk to the town and its restaurants and bars which were excellent and very inexpensive.

The hotel is very nice ,location is nice,2 mns walking from the ocean and from some great restaurants and coffees.Very near a highway but room/windows have double glass so its really not noisy , it seems to be new and its confortable and very clean , it has for free, for guests use, parking ,pool and gym... The staff was really very welcoming and helpfull ...Good breakfast with quality ingredients and on the check out day and because i had to leave the hotel at 5am the staff had some food prepared so that i could eat before flying .

Stayed for just one night. The reception people were very good particularly Sean who was incredibly helpful and even came out to us in the car when leaving to offer help for our journey

The room and bathroom was large and clean. It was quiet and very comfortable. We had good parking the basement, and the breakfast (included with our room) was excellent. It included a wide variety of items - fruits, numerous pastries, omelets or eggs cooked to order, etc. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay made us feel welcomed and gave great advise on where to go for days out.

Staff are attentive, courteous..well situated. Although not far from motorway it doesn’t detract from stay. Airport close by village it’s self is typical Madeiran plenty of places to eat as well the hotel. Local bus is just over the road as well as the hotel shuttle.all in all excellent hotel. Have stayed here under previous ownership.new make over since and impressed. Check it out
