Pros: Great location — walkable and right in the city center. Cons: The online check-in process promoted by the hotel in multiple emails did not work properly. I had to enter all my information several times online, only to repeat the entire process again at the front desk. Only one of the two elevators was working during my stay, which led to long waits and lines, especially during busy times like breakfast. Starting around 9 AM, the cleaning staff begins knocking on doors and speaking loudly in the hallways. Even with a "Do Not Disturb" sign, I was repeatedly woken up. The soundproofing is very poor, making it difficult to rest. Overall: I would not recommend this hotel if you plan to sleep in past 9 AM or are recovering from a long flight. The staff does not respect quiet hours, and your need for rest may not be accommodated.

The hotel was perfect for our family of 4. We appreciate the bathroom size (as we have been staying in places with small showers). Overall cleanliness was good. The breakfast buffet was great! Clean and good food. The pool is small, though it's peaceful and still family friendly.

Room is clean, area felt safe, I would stay here again. Note the pool is more like a large bath tub, the property photos are deceiving. Regardless the rooftop patio is lovely.

Loved our stay here. Vatican Style accommodated our early arrival by first storing our luggage and then having our room ready for early check- in. We want to especially thank Ruth for making us feel at home during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here . We were 5 days . And we walked everywhere . So convenient and safe . A lot places to eat around . I paid for daily breakfast and love it . We had omelette , fried eggs everything cook in front of us . The staff is very welcoming. Best service . I will definitely come back . Very clean too .

From the moment we arrived we received excellent service. The concierge were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The rooms we had were clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed. The swimming pool and terrace area was very relaxing. Our two boys loved it despite the water being a little cold (it was April!). All in all would definitely recommend!

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is modern, clean, spacious. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was fabulous. Lots of fresh choices. Will definitely come back next time we visit Barcelona. Highly recommended.

We had a great time here and it was in the perfect part of town for us to be able to walk mostly to our destinations, even later at night. The only thing we had issues with as with the AC not working the best in our room, which caused it to be warm each night when we got back to our room. We opened the window before bed, but we understand it most likely has something to do with the building itself and not having the best circulation. Overall, we had a great experience!

Nice hotel in the heart of the Eixample neighborhood. Good base of operations.

Location was good for all local attractions, staff very helpful , we had a double room with a terrace which is well worth the extra . Pool not really a pool too small . Bathroom need updating and sound proofing needs improving , could hear other rooms alarm clocks and phones ringing . Water bottle was not replenished. Just as an FYI there was only 2 English speaking channels

Location was excellent. Room next to a school with children playing various activities. It was quite loud but quiet at night.

Good stay overall. Modern, clean room. Preferred other areas of Barcelona to stay but it was safe and walkable.

Very clean . Staff very nice. Close to everything . Beautiful safe courtyard street with several dining choices. Room is small, but we knew that before booking. Quaint pool on roof with beautiful view of the area. I would stay here again.
