This property has everything you need , the staff are all kind and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and have all you require. We were sad to leave. The on site parking was safe and secure. A walk uphill and you are in the old town with a map and walking tour supplied by the Hotel. The breakfast was generous and tasty with helpful staff present. I thoroughly recommend the Hotel and would happily book it again.

Location, service and breakfast are awesome, especially the two guys at breakfast who make individual coffees. Rooms are a bit dated ( think college dorms) but very clean. Front desk people are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located down the hill from the old town. The room was clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was quite OK. Overall, the price was fair for what we got.

A business hotel right outside the center of the city so don't expect a lot of 'character' but it is efficient, has indoor parking, and worked fine. Water pressure in the shower was very good. Staff was helpful with anything I needed. Location was very convenient to get into the center of L'Aquila.

Really nice hotel, clean, good service. The room feels a little outdated. L’Aquila is still recovering from the devastating earthquake but there is a lot going on in this city and the scenery is simply spectacular.

Hotel Federico is very clean, roomy, comfortable and walking distance to Fontana Luminosa and the Castello. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Good quality breakfast. Service oriented wait staff and welcoming!🙃

Parking, it had a garage. Massive key with a ball, they really don't want to lose keys.

Really modern hotel, friendly staff, good location with 5-10 minutes to the old town of L'Aquila. Design of the hotel was new and modern, had all the amenities and some comfort features as electric curtains. Breakfast was good Italian style with made-to-order coffee and sweet and savory pastries. Parking is very convenient with a lift in the parking garage. Staff really friendly and give lots of recommendations for the area.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Hotel Federico II in L'Aquila. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was professional and very helpful. My only recommendation would be to request a room on the 1st floor because the a/c in the higher rooms does not cool as well as the lower rooms does. Aside from that, the hotel is new, clean, and the daily breakfast is fantastic. Great location, too. Just wonderful!

ANicehotel friendly staff and a free car park. unfortunatly L’Aquila after the 2009 earthquake is still a disaster area. I hope for the people of L’Aquila life one day will be back to normal

My stay was very pleasant. The staff spoke good English and were very professional. My room was clean and comfortable. This is not a complaint, but it would be helpful to have tea making facilities in the room. The majority of Italian hotels do not offer this, or the opportunity to pay a little extra. Being English i love my tea.

Very nice place to stay in the vicinity of the castle Forte Spagnolo. The rooms are in brand new conditions, rather large, and impeccably clean. The bathrooms are equipped in a hairdryer, bidet, and modern shower with many options. The shower may be a bit small for large people. Free breakfast offers a wide variety of croissants, pastry, jellies, and fruit to choose from. Excellent choice in L'Aquila.

No restaurant available other than for breakfast. The restaurant that is indicated on the web information is only for large groups. The air conditioning in the rooms that is also indicated on the web information is only available in the summer--not for the 80+ degree F days we were there in June.
