Marvellous (and very interesting) building and very helpful staff, especially with recommendations for evening dining, Ragusa is blessed with a more than ample supply of good restaurants. The downsides were that the breakfast buffet wasn't replenished and the streetparking is a bit of a problem.

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff but terribly disappointed with our room, I rang the property after making the initial booking to upgrade to a balcony room with a view, we were given a room looking out onto a high wall, dark and dingy! plus the airconditiong didn't work for 4 days on the trot, it was 36 degrees, I asked for a discount by the hotel, I received a meal which consisted of a burger and chips and a bottle of wine, was then told I needed to contact Expedia if I required a further discount which I shall be doing, so overall not great!

Beautiful little hotel 10-15 walk to center of the old quarter of the city. We had a suite with a mezzanine really awesome. Garden and pool area a definite plus. Breakfast included was excellent and Staff was superbe. Highly recommend it

This place is a hidden gem in Ragusa. Bit hard to find because it’s hidden in a very small and steep one way street. The interior and the room is simply amazing once you step inside. All of the staff we met were simply exceptional and kind. The garden and pool area is superb and very quiet. We will come again.

Villa Del Lauro is a beautiful quiet old palazio which has been completely renovated. It is located on the less touristy side of Ragusa but in some ways it is better as less touristy and the walk to the other side, albeit down stairs and up the other part of town, is very charming and affords views one would probably miss if not staying on this side. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We forgot our passports on departure and Aldo was very kind and organised for our papers to take the local bus and be collected by the next hotel's staff since we had just cycled 60km when we realised our mistake. The gardens and swimming pool were beautiful but be prepared for a fresh swim. The room was very spacious and well furnished. The breakfast was excellent and the choice of having it in a beautifully painted dining room or outside in the garden was very difficult. Thank you very much for this great stay and thank you Aldo for your help that made all the difference :)

Great hotel in Ragusa, lovely room and garden with pool. Breakfast room was really nice with nice breakfast! Nice walk to Ragusa ibla or walk up to the duomo. Check out local cafes like delicatessen in drogheria or prima classe bar to mix with the locals

We could not have had a better stay. The check in was smooth and the receptionist could not have done more for us, even checking our cars were parked legally. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the local area typically Italian. Much recommended place to stay.

Friendly clean hotel, smallish well kept room with a nice bed, no coffee or tea making facilities in the room, nice grounds and pool, no real bar area, very difficult to park in the area, fortunate to get parked outside with a hotel permit, one way cobbled street on a very steep hill. 20 min walk to Ragusa Ibla ( old town ) but very steep multiple steps up an down to the centre, not for the faint hearted though, but well worth it.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms very comfortable. No elevator, lobby, 1st floor breakfast,2nd&3rd floor rooms.Breakfast was a nice variety of choices. Front desk made arrangements with taxi service to drive us around to sightsee. Very helpful. Driving and parking on narrow steep streets made that part of our trip stressful. Views from hotel were beautiful. Restaurants and stores walking distance. I would definitely stay there again but rethink car situation

Lovely hotel - great position for exploring both parts of Ragusa - Ragusa Ibla is an absolute gem and not to be missed. On street parking was a bit tricky but the hotel do give you a street permit. The hotel is in an old building which is full of character and our superior room was over 2 floors which was fab. The only negative was breakfast which was very basic and not what you would expect from a hotel of this standard.

This is a fantastic hotel- staff are wonderful. Although a few things to update ........not surprising in this lovely building........it's nothing that should stop you booking. Parking was a doddle. We were lucky to have two rooms on our stay - both bathrooms were of great size (others had commented that they were small) Breakfast wonderful. Ragusa a great place to stay / visit.

Beautiful villa with large garden and pool area. We had a lovely view of the old town out of the window. The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was great each morning. There is parking outside but the hotel is located on a steep hill which is quite narrow, it was easy enough to find a space, this was the only thing we didn't love but the hire car was fine. The staff were friendly and i would go back if i return to Sicily

We used google maps to navigate our car through the narrow streets and found free parking right outside the front door. The hotel and our room were very well appointed, with a comfortable bed and good shower. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here two nights and loved it! Used the hotel as a base to also visit Noto and Modica. Great location close to the 'old' town and having the pool was fantastic to refresh after long hours sightseeing

Fantastic staff and well located hotel if you want to see both sides. Only problem was pool and surrounds needed cleaning, though this was early in the season.
