Love this hotel! Small rooms but oh so nice. Has everything you need, comfortable beds, nice shower etc.. Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast is the best! The rooftop bar is so charming! The people at the desk are very helpful and courteous.

The hotel location was central for our needs. Although the room was small it had enough space to not feel too cramped for two of us. The breakfast assortment was fantastic and the overall staff is very friendly and helpful. Roscioli is just a few steps across the hotel and they have good pizza. I would stay here again.

All of the staff at the Hotel Smeraldo were friendly. The Filipino housekeeping lady, that was always keeping the lobby area clean, was so sweet & kind. She always greeted us & made us feel welcomed. Their morning breakfast was delicious--we especially enjoyed the cappuccino & maritozzo! The hotel's location was excellent, we walked to nearly every venue, Colosseum, Vatican, Pantheon, Jewish Ghetto, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Borghese Gallery & Villa, Doria Pamphilj gallery, Travestere & Testaccio from there. We'd definitely stay there again if we visit Rome again. We loved the Hotel Smeraldo & Rome.

Excellent location for our trip, clean, modern, excellent breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. The only note is that the room was small, yet that was expected

Excellent. Best location to stay in. Rooms are clean and service is great. The Roof Top Terrace is lovely and the staff exceeded our expectations. A visit to the Roof Top Terrace is a must.

The staff are absolutely top notch, the whole hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the included breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.

Wonderful, clean hotel in the heart of the historic center of Rome, everything within walking distance! Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Standard Rooms are small but comfortable and quiet. Even though there was a lot of activity in the street outside our room we never heard any noise unless we opened the window. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again next time we visit Rome!
