Very welcoming as we enter the hotel however the lift looks OK and the room is the smallest we had on this trip in Italy. The air conditioning is good however the temperature doesn't work properly at all. Wi-fi is OK and the room is a little dark from my perspective while the water pressure is low so it took a long time for the water kettle to be filled up.

L’hôtel est fermée et personne nous a avisé de la situation. Nous sommes arrivés et les portes étaient barrées. Heureusement il y avait une affiche qui disait de voir à l’autre hôtel poutlr les informations. Heureusement notre réservation avait été transféré, mais je ne comprends pas comment on nous a jamais avisé au préalable. C’est un minimum!

Location for hotel -- a short walk from train station and a short walk to the main touristic part of the city -- was a plus. Facility was well-appointed but no frills (reminded me of a Club Quarters hotel) -- definitely catering to business travelers. Staff was helpful in providing restaurant and other suggestions although a wee bit brusque. Would definitely recommend although a bit short on charm.

I unfortunately cannot recommend Hotel Principe in Modena, Italy. Despite its four-star rating, the experience felt more like a two-star establishment. The air conditioning was malfunctioning, leaving the room uncomfortably warm. Additionally, the noise from the busy road made it difficult to relax or sleep. The breakfast was underwhelming, lacking variety and quality. To top it off, the rooms were disappointingly small, making the stay feel cramped and uncomfortable. On a positive note, just two doors down is a Best Western that looked amazing and seemed to offer a much better experience. I would suggest considering that option instead.

they actually had a place in the bathroom convenient to a mirror to plug in a hairdryer.. thinking of women!!! first hotel that had it after 3 weeks here in 4 star hotels... much appreciated.

Everything at the Principe Hotel in Modena was nice, clean and the personnel service was exceptional. They were always very serviceable and willing to answer questions, make suggestions, and help us at any moment. About the room, it was way spacious and well equipped with all amenities for travelers. Whoever designed the rooms and preparation deserves good recognition.

This is a relatively small and friendly hotel, close to the station and also the historic centre. The staff are helpful, and the room is clean. My only quibble is the size of the room - it’s very tight and the bed is close to the desk. The external shutters were nearly closed and I couldn’t open them, which makes the room dark. It has a lot of merits, and is a good base to see Modena

All in all the stay was good, upon Arrival receptionist was unpleasant, night receptionist was nice And helpful. Room was small, clean and quiet, the AC was fantastic!
