This was a wonderful place to stay. Nuno had great recommendations for places to visit and dining options in the area. The grounds at the property were beautiful and one could spend plenty of time enjoying the facility and the amenities. The breakfast was delicious and the honesty bar was nice. The room was spacious and well supplied and the staff was attentive. Thank you for hosting us! We have already discussed coming back!

Super spot. We travelled as family with 2 small kids and everything was great. Self contained acccommodation, with terrace. Kids loved feeding the donkeys. The owner is very welcoming and has some super restaurant and sight seeing tips. Very relaxed vibe and we loved it.

The Quinta da Alcaidaria-Mór hotel is a splendid 17th century property with cottages and surrounding grounds. On arrival at the hotel we were welcomed by the property owner with Scuby the family dog and were provided with a description of the hotel facilities and attractions in the area. We stayed in a charming cottage adjacent to the main house which was equipped with self-catering facilities and wood burning heater. The view from our cottage was of a paddock with donkeys and sheep. We visited the 12th century Ourem castle and had drinks in a delightful cafe in the nearby village. We had an excellent evening meal in the Botega restaurant in Ourem and a splendid breakfast in the hotel. During breakfast we met some other very interesting hotel guests who had dined in the hotel the previous evening. They clearly had much enjoyed their dinner. After hearing about the dinner provided in the hotel, we questioned the need to travel to eat elsewhere. In summary, we had an extremely enjoyable stay at the hotel.

ABSOLUTELY Beautiful cottage beautiful setting. Cottage cleaned everyday. Not far from must sees of Fatima and Tomar had no car but owner offered and local taxi driver took us everywhere for little cost seen everything missed nothing but were able to return to the beautiful tranquil settings of hotel.Treat yourself 10/10.Only home miss it already would definitely return. 5 stars.

A conseiller fortement. Le proprietaire est très agréable, il prend le temps de vous expliquer sa région et vous conseille. Le petit déjeuner excellent. L' exterieur et interieur à voir on ne peut pas en dire plus pour garder la decouverte. Une grande salle est mis à la disposition des hotes avec un billard et une table de ping pong. Merci à notre hote pour cet accueil. La seulle que nous regrettons, c'est d'y avoir passer qu'une seule journée.

24 octobre 2018 au 28 octobre 2018 Un très beau manoir, avec des articles de grande valeur. Une chambre très confortable, Nous sommes arrivés pour un soir et nous sommes restés 4 soirs. Les propriétaires très accueillants et chaleureux. Quant au petit déjeuner, j'ai mangé les meilleurs œufs brouillés de ma vie. A revenir sans faute.
