The floors of the room was super dirty. On second day had to call reception to get it cleaned then saw the guy do it and for a large room he just put the mop in the bucket once and cleaned the entire room without repotting the mop in the bucket which explains it. Nice facilities for children, close to angry bird park, at dinner you have to pay for water and you also have to pay to use the safe which is ridiculous. But nice view, great pool, great activities for children. The sea room view are great.

Always able to get a sunbed. The hotel is so convenient for the coastal walk into Amadores. We were half board and enjoyed the food. Lots of variety each night.

We loved our stay here. We had a fabulous room and time in the Thalasso pool. It would have been even better if - our bed had 8 legs instead of 7. As crazy as this sounds, it was 2 single beds pushed together, one deliberately with 3 legs which meant dependant on where you sat on that bed, there was always a leg off the floor, so when you moved, the legs were hitting the floor in turn. Under the bed was cleaned of dust. The jacuzzi had been scrubbed.

Great resort, staff where brilliant, highly recommended (but don’t forget to bring your own iron 🙃)

Lovely eighth stay here!! Room in block 4 level 3 had great sea views. Good excellent of food throughout the day. Puerto Rico is an easy walk along the front .

Return visit to a wonderful hotel with two great pools overlooking the ocean.

SO clean, attentive staff, breakfast could be a little better but standard for a hotel this busy!

Lovely hotel. Great position, lovely pools friendly staff and good food.

Lovely hotel with amazing views and friendly staff. This was a return visit and seen improvements from previous times, and will come back. Some offerings could be improved - body lotion and conditioner in the rooms, as well better hairdryers. I would also suggest some bed toppers for the extensible couch and some scheme to incentives guest to reuse towels for more than one day in a bid to become more ecofriendly, as well as more selective rubbish collection.

Unfortunately my husband ended up in hospital, we came out with 6 friends and four of us had food poisoning, my husband is 74 and has heart problems, we have had to extend our stay and alter our flights by 2 days, he ended up with a severe urine infection due to being dehydrated, We have stayed here before but we won’t be returning.

The hotel itself was nice, we liked the pool area and cleaning/restaurant staff were excellent. However the reception staff let the hotel down. At check in we were told if we didn’t like our room we could change in the morning, we found this strange as if the man at reception knew we were being placed in the wrong room. For context we booked a double sea room 8 months in advance. We were put in to a dirty small dark room looking into reception. We requested to be swapped the following morning and were told there are no rooms left and we could return the next day. I sent an email to management and I was told there was a room available on the system. So we were lied to at reception. The room was nicer as it’s what we booked. We were woken up at 8am every morning from screaming and shouting and people running up and down the hall. The dining room was chaos every morning. Towards the end of our holiday we went to reception to enquire about a late check out and we were told this wouldn’t be a problem and the lady took our details and told us to return the morning of checkout.We returned and we were told they needed the room back and couldn’t give us another room but they had a booking system for a 15 min courtesy room we could use to get changed in if we requested a specific time at checkout.When we checked out we asked to book a slot for the room and surprise no room was available.Raquel was very rude and brushed us off when we told her her colleague told us this. All lies….

What an amazing hotel!! Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable, every room has the most beautiful sea view. The food was plentiful, of an excellent quality and a good variety of options. A short walk to the nearest town where there were lots of shops/restaurants. Only 25 mins from the airport too. Faultless!!

It is overall a very lovely hotel and a good place to stay. Unfortunately the hotel staff and housekeeping don’t pay attention to do not disturb signs and entered my room several times when I didn’t want to be bothered. This wasn’t taken seriously by reception staff either. There seems to be an issue with the water supply in the mornings, maybe down to demand but it kept running at low pressure, cold and even stopping completely during a shower. The breakfast buffet was rather boring, but that seems standard for many hotels. Great location and easy access to both Peurto Rico and Amadores as well as the commercial centre if you’ve got the fitness to walk up the hill.

The bedrooms are very spacious and the sea views excellent, though the bathroom arrangements may not be to everyone’s taste as has been commented upon by other guests. It’s all very open plan! The restaurant buffet is very extensive and well presented. For the price we paid it was excellent value for money.

Overall good value for money, staff friendly and food good. However the hotel is beginning to look a bit tired and needs some renovating.

We had a long needed sun break and decided to go to the Gloria Palace Amadores, if you want to chill, relax, and just enjoy a peaceful holiday in the sun this is the place to go. Amazing infinity pools (yes 2 of them!), sunbeds are plentiful, food is amazing given the amount of choices, service and cleanliness is excellent.
