Loved the location, walking distance from the marina and city center with lots of food choices.

The Antillia hotel was a very nice hotel with very large rooms. The room actually was the size of a small apartment with one room with beds and the other room had a kitchenette, fridge, couch, kitchen table & chairs. My only issue was that our air conditioner did not work properly from the first day & after asking them to send someone to look at the issue, in the end they just gave us a fan!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Antillia. My room was very spacious and had a view of the ocean. The beds were quite firm, which I'm used to but may be less comfortable for others - they did have a top sheet, which many places in Europe do not, so I was happy with this. The bathroom had a hair dryer and good water pressure in the shower. The room was quite cool inside which was a refreshing break from the humidity outside. Everything was clean and functional. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They were able to store my bags upon arrival and provide me with guidance on where to walk to access food, drink, and sites to see. I thought the location was excellent - there were restaurants and grocery stores very close by, and it was a quick walk to the port and to the various botanical gardens and other sites. The roads are very narrow there and some drivers may be uncomfortable with this but I found it was very easy to access the hotel, and there is paid parking available right outside the lobby (around 4-5 euros overnight). My only complaint would be with the bar area - I was seated near the windows next to the pool and when people went outside to smoke, even with the door shut the smell of cigarettes was very overwhelming inside the bar for some reason. Other than this, it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend Hotel Antillia to other travellers!

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the mattress was hard as a rock and you could feel all the springs. Otherwise this was such an excellent stay. Easy walk into the historic town centre. Very clean. Beautiful ocean views. The staff was lovely. The breakfast was great. The pool was so cute and a nice bar next to it to have a cocktail next to the pool. Overall such a wonderful experience.

Great hotel, very clean and good amenities (spa is a plus, with sauna and jacuzzi). My only suggestion would be to increase the internal pool and jacuzzi’s water temperature, since is was unusual cold weather for this time of the year.

Bright, clean, affordable, lovely pool, breakfast is included with the room, parking is available right outside the hotel at about .50/hour. ($20 US overnight) - rough estimate. Parking on the street is SUPER limited and the streets are SUPER tight.

We didn't have breakfast as we had an early start the following day. I highly recommend this hotel for the lovely and welcoming reception staff and the huge rooms! We had a big bedroom, a hall, a bathroom, a large balcony and a separate lounge/diner/kitchen. The hotel was also in a good location to explore Ponta Delgada on foot.

Great hotel. Centrally located with parking (for a fee). Rooms are very quiet. Staff is excellent! Only complaint is mattress and pillows are uncomfortable.

Great quiet place to stay close to the historic district. Rooms I stayed before and after sailing for two weeks were fabulous!

I stayed here before and after sailing the Azores for two weeks. The rooms were fabulous- quiet, comfortable with secluded/private balconies. Staff were very helpful and accommodating to my needs. I look forward to returning in the future!
