Amazing views from both upstairs lounge and downstairs restaurant. Drinks were perfect and food was amazing. Having said all the positives, service was horrible! Waiter came once and knew we’re were not hotel guests and ignored us for next 1.5 hours. To get a vino refill, I had to flag down the uninterested assistant. We were dressed well, my mom is Genovese, so it’s not like you should/could discriminate. We watched Peppe the waiter fondle over every other guest but us. Requested check from assistant and after 20. Yes. 20 minutes we waited at the register. FINALLY Peppe had time to close out our 83Euro tab. Again… gorgeous views, amazing food. Unacceptable service.

The property itself is stunning and maintains a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, but what truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service. ​The Highlights: ​The Atmosphere: Sophisticated, impeccably clean, and incredibly welcoming from the moment you walk through the doors. ​The Room: Spacious, quiet, and featured high-end amenities that made it hard to leave. ​Special Mention: The bar tender. ​The absolute highlight of our evenings was visiting the hotel bar. We were served by the bartender, who is a true asset to this establishment. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely authentic and kind. ​Not only does he craft a perfect cocktail, but he is super helpful with local recommendations and is great at conversing. He has a way of making you feel like a regular within minutes. It’s that level of person-centered service that turns a great hotel into a favorite one. ​The Verdict: ​If you’re staying here, do yourself a favor and stop by the bar to say hello to Pedro. We will definitely be back!

We were happy to stay 1 week while visiting Assisi. It was convenient for walking all over. (We never used the spa, but heard it was very nice from someone who did)

Unique hotel with excellent service, a great bartender, exceptional food and the best view of the valley. Oh, and it has a parking if you book it in time. The layout takes a little getting used to but it's an excellent hotel with exceptionally nice staff and the best bartender in Assisi. Great views from the bar and balconies and very good valet parking. Prices are reasonable too.the attaches restaurant is also worth visiting. Breakfast is not exceptional but equal quality to most Italian hotels.
