Clean and modern room in a wonderful character pub, great pub food and good beer..

Very welcoming and comfortable stay at the Queens Head. Lovely old pub area and excellent food. All good quality and good value.

This was a one night stop in the twin room. It was small but had recently been redecorated so everything was new. The only downside was the toilet wasn’t main flush but had a noisy macerator which went off unexpectently during the night The owner was lovely and very accommodating . We ate in the bar and food was decent. Pie peas and a pint for £20

we only stayed one night but really enjoyed our stay checkin was easy and relaxed, all the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. we had a meal in the bar area at night and breakfast in the morning both really good. our room looked to have just been refurbished and had all we needed if we are in the the area we would stay again. thanks.

Very enjoyable stay while I was attending a course. Lovely managers and staff. Shame no meals other than breakfast available but I'm sure the managers will get this sorted soon. Ample parking. Very traditional English pub - I hope it stays that way! Quaint and charming in the bar, but rooms were modern and well equipped.

Really nice place and run by a lovely couple

Very clean, although small room with all the amenities which were well stocked. The pub was going through a management transition, but everything went smoothly. With friendly and helpfull staff.

The room was nicely decorated and clean but lacked space for our suitcases and we couldn’t get the WiFi to work. Breakfast was great and staff friendly.
