Clean and central location

San Bosco Inn was a perfect base for our La Fortuna adventures. Clean and safe - the views of Arenal were incredible! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Loved being able to go to sister property Volcano Lodge to soak in the hot springs.

Great location, easy walk to many restaurants. Close to all the main attractions, La Fortuna Waterfalls, rope swing, hot springs, hikes etc. The property is well-maintained, breakfast was tasty, lots of fresh fruit. Didn’t use the pool but it was very well kept.

A wonderful hotel. Basic and clean room. Lots of hot water in shower. Fabulous breakfast buffet by the pool, watching the birds. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful setting with many types of flowers and birds. Different places to sit and relax. Great location, close to the centre of town, which is great for travellers without cars Excellent value for the money!

Great place to stay

I didn’t be able to visit the area and tried to cancel. Expedia said to negotiate but property didn’t response. I have nothing to talk about the hotel anyway

Room was clean, had a safe, pool was a good size, breakfast included was good and the free entrance to the hot springs at their sister hotel Volcano Lodge was a nice plus. Front desk and breakfast staff were quite lovely, we enjoyed our stay. I'm a light sleeper so I was awaken when someone was checking out around 6am but my room was next to the entrance so theres that! We would stay again :) close proximity to everything was great.

If you only stay in upscale 5 star - this isn't your accommodation type. The rooms have old carpeted floors so wear your shoes. Other than that- beds were comfortable and everything was clean, there is coffee and tea available 24/7 and a small bottle if wine to welcome you. Breakfast is included and it was delicious. You can use their sister property with hot spring pools free of charge and they will even lend you a towel! The place has an area to shower and change for guests from San Bosco.

Clean, beautiful, accommodating

Staff was excellent. The rooms are VERY loud from the noise in the area...and it goes all night long. I would suggest more than just a thin sheet for the beds as well.

Bosco Inn was well located. It was clean and comfortable. We were able to get room for 3, with 3 beds. Breakfast was delicious! Added plus we were able to go to use Thermal pools at their sister property- Volcano Lodge, for free. That was great!

Loved this little gem. Such a good price for an old but well maintained and comfortable stay. Great pool and breakfast, amazing location in town and loved the access to sister property. Went there every night! The street traffic can be a little noisy. Would definitely stay here again.

One block from Town Square. Lots of places to eat within 5 min . Clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was great… so was the FREE Sister hotel …. Volcano Lodge …. Beautiful property to enjoy their great hotsprings . Food was good there too… went 2 days ! Uber there was usually $5 I live in Costa Rica on the Caribbean … will for sure go back to La Fortuna and will stay at San Bosco Inn! Comfy beds … AC if needed… only used it one night … I stayed for 4 nights
