We paid over £200 per night for two nights for what was a very small and dated room - we left after one night and checked into a hotel a few km away which was £175 per night including breakfast and was fabulous. We were very disappointed with Poseidon Resort hotel - when we checked out early nobody even asked why!

Overall a nice budget friendly hotel with pros and cons, the pros are location, fantastically located giving you the option of both new town and old town in walking distance, the staff were brilliant putting in a lot of effort for entertainment and communication, the pool and breakfast were really nice and clean. A few cons are that the room could do with a update the walls had marks and other areas of the room could do with a freshen up (tv, balcony furniture , coffee making facilities etc) maybe look for beds that could be clasped together to avoid a gap down the middle when combining two singles) Unfortunately the room walls are very thin so from 7am you can here the other rooms leaving and their doors slamming and the bin men outside but if you are not overly worried about lying in it’s not an issue. Overall a very Nice budget stay which could be made better and encourage a return trip.

Iactually staed at the POSEIDON PALACE as POSEIDON RESORT was full. Same company same quality.

Travelling with friends but i booked the wrong poseidon. I wanted the beachfront. I ask front desk if we can transfer but not granted.beware therw is two Poseidon. The bed wasnt comfee only one very thin pillow. Toulet need upgradingThey focus cleaning more on the pool and the entertainment area. The are is near to restaurant and few corners away from the beach. Too crowded in the pool. The entertainment music is too loud. Too many people always sat and waiting in the llobby

Nice hotel. Stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. Could do with up grading but ample for a weekend break. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel is dated. Breakfast was chaotic. Receptionist needs more staff on in busy periods

This is the second time that I’ve stayed at this hotel. I would recommend it to families and single people too. Great Staff and an all round great experience again 😊

Poseidon Resort is made up of 2 hotels next door to each other. Guests get to use the facilities at either hotel. Breakfast is standard for Spanish hotels. Good selection but hot food wasn't really hot at all. Reception area a little dated but very clean. Again, rooms are clean but pretty outdated, but they are currently renovating floor by floor, so maybe they'll be better soon. Very hot for the first part of the week, but they don't switch their aircon on until May, which seems ridiculous. No fans in rooms to counter this. Bar prices are good and Paco was great, really good fun! First time I've stayed at a Benidorm hotel that didn't offer an iron or board. At all. No ironing service either, so we were a little crumpled at times. They should change that, it's a standard service in all other hotels in the town. My review sounds negative, but it's not. My stay was a good one, and I would not hesitate to stay there again. However, a few minor changes and it becomes my first choice. Oh! Ants! All over the bathroom. Not good.

Waited ages to check in, air con doesn’t work till June, you can hear neighbours tv as wall paper thin and trying to relax by the pool no chance , they were using a pneumatic drill around the pool for 4 hours and got shoved in the old part of the hotel as they like locals in the new building

Clean if slightly dated interior but with attentive staff. Stayed on a room only basis so cannot comment on other aspects of establishment. Used by Spanish nationals' so I'd treat that as an endorsement. Good location for old town Benidorm, the beach and other aspects of the town.

on arrival check in was quite chaotic with there being 16 of us, people having to write addresses and phone numbers on little pieces of paper but was sorted when we went back.

The hotel was very nice, we were room only so can't comment on the food. The pool and surrounding area looked clean but we didn't use it as the weather was a bit too chilly. . The room itself was very clean and the twin beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a large walk in shower and bidet.There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a very handy free safe for valuables. Our room had a large balcony with table and chairs overlooking the pool, which is nice in warmer months to sit outside. Maid service was every day if required, make sure you leave the ticket on the door if you wish to lay in late. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Great location also as it's half way between the old and new town, both a 10 minute stroll.

Normal rooms...close walk to shopping ..restaurants and beach.is an advantage. Checkin and checkout is smooth. Parking costs 10 Euro / day extra. Average and normal food options...remember to carry your own swimming cap and also even if you have small kids no water bottle is allowed in dinner.

Only rated as food because I didn’t use full facilities great location friendly efficient staff reasonably priced would happily consider staying here again
