Beautiful property, very clean!, quiet location.

Nice pool, and just a few steps to the beach.

Property is dated but clean. Very sparse in decor, no pictures on the wall. The location is good and convenient to the beach. We purchased the Full Board option but the food was pretty gross and the fact you have assigned times to eat felt very limiting. It wasn't ideal to plan our day around when we could eat. We ended up not eating there but there is an excellent restaurant just steps away. Overall, I'd give the property a 3.5 out of 5. Staff weren't very friendly or helpful. I don't think we'd return b/c it is was very loud with music going well into the night.

It was very clean and like new, and the room service was great. But there was a refrigerator in the room that was not working purposely, as they said it could only be used for a cooler. There was no ice, and you can’t drink the tap water, they wanted you to buy your drinking water! Insane! Also, there was no parking, and we had to park 2 miles away from the hotel to find street parking. The beach is very nice, and more quiet then the southern part, the water is prettier also. I wouldn’t stay again, Too much of a hassle with kids.

Lots of amenities! Right across the beach, you can hear the waves from your room. There’s a spa, there’s umbrella/chairs on the beach that you can pay for, a pool (indoor and out), food within hotel and a few independent restaurants near. staff is great, food for lunch/dinner is OK in my opinion but breakfast is pretty good. Regardless, their buffet options are pretty large and can accommodate any diet (vegetarian, gluten free….)

Lovely stay. It is difficult to get to and get out of if you don’t have a car. The welcome cocktail was lovely. Pool was lovely, great atmosphere! Room was spotless clean and a lovely balcony!

Es un hotel viejo mucho más orientado a las vacaciones familiares por lo cual está muy grande y con mucha gente. No tiene nada memorable. El cuarto aunque amplio y limpio tenía problema de almohadas ya que sólo hay una almohada grande para la cama lo que es bastante incómodo. Camas duras. No cuentan con servicio de toallas para la playa, son con un costo extra. Desayuno suficiente para cantidad de gente que maneja el hotel pero nada especial.

We decided to have a short break away from home and chose Pensicola - mainly because of being at the beach but also because of the connection to the film 'El Cid' - husband is a film geek. The facilities of the hotel were great, especially the outside swimming pool. We have a 5 and 6 year old who thoroughly enjoyed their days, I also think they entertained the other guests who were of a more mature age bracket. Everything about our break was great and would highly recommend to everyone.

The location right on the Peniscola beach and the very nice pool area makes this an ideal family resort hotel, and it also seemed to offer a lot of activities for smaller children and shows every night. Our family, w 15-year daughter, were only making a one-night stop on our car ride from Alicante to Barcelona, so we did not expect to make use of any facilities. Rooms are quite standard, fairly large and tidy, with a balcony, either facing the pool area and/or the beach. Staff was OK, but never get personal in a hotel of this size. The only negative about this hotel, in our opinion, was the food. We had a very affordable price including full-board, so we made use of the included dinner, which was a buffe in the huge and not very cosy restaurant. This buffe was really a bad experience, whatever dish we tried, it did taste like... nothing. The breakfast was OK, but nothing more So enjoy sun, bath and children's activities in this hotel's pool area or on the beach just a few steps away, but avoid the full-board, ad try some of the nice restaurants nearby on the nice beach walk of Peniscola!

El acceso es lo único que me parecio complicado por lo demas todo perfecto.

Accueil rapide et professionnel....chambre spacieuse petite terrasse salle de bain fonctionnelle....literie parfaite....repas bons un bemol sur les desserts....le spa est fantastique et peu cher.....personnel agréable, aux petits soins....je recommande cet hôtel

Decepcionado porque no han tenido la mínima consideración. Debido a la Dana y el corte de la autopista, llamé para decir que no podría usar mi reserva pero no me lo cogieron. A la mañana siguiente me devuelven la llamada y me dicen que contacte con ellos por e-mail para que me devuelvan el coste de la reserva. Así hago y me dicen que lo sienten, pero que ni siquiera les llamé para decir que no iría y que como la reserva era no reembolsable no me devolverían el dinero. Contacto con hoteles.com (a través de la app que hice la reserva) y lo me contestan que la reserva se hizo directamente con el hotel, que ellos no pueden hacer nada. Vamos, que me han llamado mentiroso y me han robado.

El spa no pudimos usarlo porque solo fue una noche de paso, pero me hubiera venido muy bien. Y las vistas daban a la piscina y como era de noche estaba muy bonita. La habitación muy amplia para tres y bonita decoración.

Fantastisk udsigt fra vores familieværelse. Vi kom i oktober, ikke specielt børnevenligt, alle tiltag til børn var lukket. Meget ældre venligt og meget populær ved pensionister.

En general bien, hotel grande con piscina un poco pequeña para su tamaño, en primera línea de playa, ideal para dar paseos.
