Staff is amazing and friendly ! Great location

Plain but clean .Mine was a small room with no view apart from walls. Breakfast was reasonable though(better bacon and scrambled egg than many European hotels) and staff friendly. Excellent location of course.

There is NO repeat NO air conditioning in the sense we call air conditioning. They have a central AC that blows into all rooms - but is only turned on in the HEAT of summer > May. Sub standard overall - only has an excellent location.

The air conditioning and tv did not work. The room was super outdated, but it was fine for one night. Would not recommend for a longer stay.

The location of the hotel was excellent and very convenient for getting around Nice. However, several issues significantly impacted our stay. If you need a quiet night’s sleep, this is not the place. It was noisy until the early hours, followed by loud disturbances from bottles being thrown into bins and collected. This then continued from around 7–8am with nearby restaurants creating further noise, making it very difficult to rest. The rooms felt quite outdated. There were no plug sockets by the bed, and only one working socket in the room, which three of us had to share — not practical at all. The beds were acceptable, but the biggest issue was the lack of hot water. When we tried to shower, there was only cold water. When we raised this with staff, we were told there was nothing they could do, which was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. In addition, the shower gel holder was broken — the front kept falling off during use and even hit my foot, which was both annoying and not ideal from a safety perspective. Finally, while luggage storage was offered, there didn’t appear to be any clear system or security. Bags were left in an open area where anyone could potentially access them, which didn’t feel safe. Overall, while the location is a strong point, the experience was let down by noise, poor facilities, and lack of resolution to key issues.

Would stay again. Great location to promenade and beach. Walking distance to all shopping, park, tram, train and sites. Staff very helpful. Breakfast has big selection of pastries, pancakes, sausage, bacon, but fruit bowl... not a fan. Lobby offers hot beverages and microwave. Clean room with views.

The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were fantastic.. I have stayed at this Hotel a number of times and also been completely satisfied... one minute from the Promenade des amglais, and approx' ten minutes walk from the tram stop on Avenue Jean Medecin.... and also has a fantastic "Penthouse" breakfast room...

The location of the hotel was really convenient and close to central Nice. The staffs were excellent, we were really please with the service. Room has no kettle to make hot drinks, very limited sockets in the room, only one that is available in the two rooms we stayed in. The cleanliness of the room was really good, good size bathroom and beds were comfortable.

Outstanding location and front desk advice.

The AC didn’t work and the room was incredibly stuffy and hot without the windows open. But with the windows opened, so many mosquitoes came in and we got eaten alive. Staff was friendly, just old building issues.

Original room too small and no window. Negotiated a bigger room with windowes for an additional fee. Everything vlean, great location.

Professional courteous staff. Would have given 5 stars if the bathroom door wasn’t rotted and the hole in the wall below the bathtub. However they gave an upgrade to a better room with a balcony for the second night.

The hotel was adequate for what you pay I guess. It just felt a bit tired and slightly grubby around the edges. The staff were helpful and friendly. It's not the best hotel for light sleepers as lots of noise from bars and shops. On the plus side it's a couple of minutes to the beach.
