Breakfast is good, air conditioning lock at 22, all in all is fair, older style motel needs upgrade!

Great Location, Good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff

Breakfast was pretty good with good selection. Front desk staff arranged for a bag breakfast to go on one morning as we had an early excursion which was very nice. Air conditioning worked flawlessly. Shower was really small and a few holes were in the wall of the room. Locate on a fun street with lots of action. Coin laundry very close.

The staff were very friendly, but the room was so small, if you had mobility issues, the bathroom could be a challenge as the tub was very deep had to be very careful getting in and out to take a shower. Everything was fairly close.

The hotel is old and rundown. There was no ventilation in the bathroom and the shower curtain wasn’t long enough so water splashed out onto the floor. However, the staff was helpful, and the hotel is relatively close to the train station.

Location is excellent; very close to the train station and the historic area. All around is restaurants and cafes; the Saturday night it was noisy in the evening if you want a very quiet place. The buffet breakfast was unexpectedly good! The front desk people were great and helpful, especially Franco was exceptionally friendly! We left the hotel with great memories! Great place to stay! PS: we arrived much earlier than the check in time; we were allowed to leave our luggage in a place and went to tour the town for a few hours.

One star for location - very close to the train station, Il Duomo, the pedestrian district and many restaurants. One star for the staff - they were very friendly and helpful. One star for the shower - plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Half a star for the breakfast - nothing fancy but it was adequate; pastries, eggs, juice, bread, coffee. Half a star for the room size - nice and spacious. I can’t give any more stars - the bed was not comfortable, the pillows were horrible; lots of noise from guests in hallway and/or other rooms. Water pressure in sink was too strong and scalding hot, you had to be very careful. All in all it’s an ok choice; a little pricey but that’s Florence.

A great, clean room in a brilliant location in Florence. Close to the train station for easy transport options and also close to the main major sites of Florence. Lots of great food options and shops nearby. Lovely, quiet room, appeared to be recently renovated which was lovely.

The breakfast menu was standard and the breakfast room was cramped and not pleasant or relaxing. The neighborhood was vibrant and fun with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was pleasant and helpful with directions and travel questions. We had a problem with the shower which didn’t get resolved before our stay ended.

We were really enjoyed the 4day stay with Hotel Rex. Its a perfect spot that close to everything! nice services and good breaky!

Fantastic location. Wish the room was a little bigger and actually have a wardrobe. No safe which was odd! Breakfast wasn’t bad.

Bathroom needs hooks to hang towels, room in general needs hooks for hanging your things. Breakfast room is very crowded.

Great location - easy access to train, shops, restaurants, duomo, and Accademia. Room was really small for four people but worked for just one night.

6 min walk fr SM Novella train station, 6 min away fr Sta Maria Novella cathedral. It is coveniently next to a laundromat. room is clean, offered us 3 twin beds. accessible to the walkable city if Firenze
