Great hotel close the airport

Convenient and clean

The male and female daytime receptionists went above and beyond to make my family feel welcomed and comfortable. We felt special because of their attention. Please let them know, and Thank them!

Guest parking was $45 for an outdoor parking lot. Overall a good experience. I’d stay there again.

Parking is way too much.

This property did not meet our expectations for the area (Buckhead) and for Springhill - because we have stayed at several. Mainly for the suite with the west elm sofa bed. However this one is in need of renovations. The chairs in the lobby were dirty, the sofa bed in room was filthy, and just overall dinginess was noted. The room didn’t even have a trash can, the iron was spilling out water. We tolerated everything because it was just for a nights stay. We didn’t even try the breakfast because we didn’t want to add more disappointments to the experience.

Extremely convenient - just a few steps from the sky train to the ATL airport terminal.

What makes this hotel SO unique and attractive is its LOCATION directly on the Atlanta Hartsfield Skytrain rail that connects the Rental Car Center to the terminal. That means NO AIRPORT SHUTTLES to wait for. Just board the (free) Skytrain heading to the Rental Car Center... it makes one stop at the "Gateway Hotels." Yes, there are three other Gateway Hotels, but the front door of the Springhill is like 22 steps away from the Skytrain. The others are close, but the Springhill is closest. And to make it EVEN BETTER, there is an enclosed walkway from the Atlanta West Parking Deck that is directly adjacent to the hotel!! And the price? My most recent stay was $158 per night plus $16 to park. Covered parking connected by covered walkway to the Springhill connected by the Skytrain to the airport Terminal. What could be better?? Oh, clean, quiet, comfortable rooms with couches and desks and free breakfast. Try the Springhill Gateway Hotel if you are ever flying through Atlanta!!!!

Shower head did not work and their was hair left in tub.

We had a 15-hour layover at Atlanta Airport on our way to Japan. We were not about to just "crash" at the airport. When we saw that there was a Springhill Suites at the airport, we booked our room. Getting there was a breeze--just ride the Atlanta Airport Skytrain, get off at the appropriate station, and walk 20 yards to the hotel. Check-in was quick. Our room was quiet even though there were jets coming and going just half a mile away. There were restaurants in two nearby hotels, but we opted to return to the airport for a wider selection of food. We will definitely stay here again should we have another long, overnight stop in Atlanta.

Nice place to stay and continental breakfast options were suitable.
