Bathrooms are in need of a little TLC, mixer taps only no shower head to wall attachment. No ironing facilities. Parking limited. Early checkout 10am. However, beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was superb.

The buffet breakfast is really good. The WiFi however, does not reach the rooms and is only available in certain parts of the hotel. The rooms are very basic and don’t have fans, or tea/coffee, or even a kettle, but are otherwise functional with a bed and a shower and not much else. Parking is very easily accessible on site and they offer parking off site at no extra charge if that fills up. The staff are very friendly and willing to help.

We had to park off property as the hotel ran out of parking spots. Otherwise, great stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Alp

The hotel is very outdated, feels very old, like a hotel of the 70s. The room doesn’t have air conditioning, and it traps the humidity from the bathroom. WiFi doesn’t work well. The only good thing about this hotel is breakfast. Still wouldn’t recommend staying there to anyone.

No parking. Very congested entrance. Staff pretty rude.

It was ok. the room was down a dark hall with no lights. The bed was comfortable but no AC at this hotel and it was hot. I went downstair to get a couple of glasses of ice (the hotels didn't have ice machines) and you would have thought I asked for gold! WE WERE HOT! The around the area is awesome with lots of restuarants and shops. We were only there 1 day but its ok. The one real bright spot was there breakfast - it was awesome and the views were amazing.

The hotel seems to get into its years. The room was ok and was almost clean. Some electric installation just got fixed by using tape... The breakfast is good with a lot to choose from. However, even it's forbidden, they tolerated dogs in the breakfast room. Avoid the food of the dinner restaurant. That was the worst meal I got in entire Slovenia.

Great location. The gentleman at check in was nice. Unfortunately the lady that took over from there wasn't. Very direct and rude during all our interactions. They wouldn't even let us borrow some utensils from the restaurant to eat some food we brought back from a restaurant. We asked about temporarily parking our van at the front roundabout since their parkingnlot was full so we can wait for a spot to open up. It was understandable they said no because that space is for emergency vehicles only they said. That night, the roundabout was packed full of cars and motocycles through the whole night. There were some ithsr minor issues that i won't go into.

The hotel decor is very dated (Yugoslavian 80s) but the hotel is comfortable and clean with friendly staff. The walls between rooms are very thin - our neighbour was snoring so loudly it woke us up. But otherwise the hotel is good with a large breakfast spread and all necessary amenities. There is free, albeit limited, parking available so the hotel is a good base for hiking the Soča Trail as the bus to the top of the trail is only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Apparently Hotel Alp is undergoing renovations or for some other reason is vacant. Upon arriving to check in, we were told that our reservation had been moved to their affiliated hotel down the street. That hotel was nice and I have no complaints about our stay there. However, reception indicating they had emailed us through Hotels.com to let us know about the change. We received such an email 3 days later.

The Alp is a great hotel with great facilities including 3 different saunas. Breakfast was delicious and the staff helpful.

At first glance, this hotel looked old and past its prime, but I loved the character it exuded. The facilities were basic, but it had the charm of an old alpine hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. It’s also conveniently located near restaurants and shops. I had a great time exploring Soča valley and the Triglav National Park!

Room is on the small side but it was very charming. Great breakfast!! 5-minute walk to restaurants!!

the room didn't live up to the website, and the hotel reception areas were much better than the room. It was exceptionally hot and there was no way we could sleep. The window wasn't big enough to get any air into the room. We were extremely upset that a small fan couldn't be provided.
