Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is really nice. Would definitely visit again.

Good room. Clean. Instant hot water. Large double bed. However overlooked main A road so very noisy so had to shut windows. Made room very hot and stuffy. No fan Also pillows ridiculously large and very hard

Very welcoming and clean only had short stay overnight,the restaurant looked inviting and lovely peaceful setting looking over Weardale . Will be back Highly recommended 5*****

Room fittings poorly maintained. Had to get repaired, no hook on bathroom door, safety temperature ring on shower valve not working and shower gel holder loose on wall. These rooms should be regularly checked, it is not guests job to do this.

Fanastic family run hotel. Stayed here many times and it's always very clean and the staff are friendly. Family suite with balcony very cosy and spacious.

A friendly check in. Everything the hotel offers seems to have been given thought. Standards generally high and everything most people would need was available.
