Amazing hotel, happy here

Poor service from waiters who ignore you. Rooms are dated, do not supply water. Poor room conditions for a single roomed bed.

One night stopover on our way to Northern Holland. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff are very helpful. The restaurant menu offers less choice than i remember from a previous visit, but food quality is excellent. Ample free parking immediately outside the hotel.

This is a great hotel ideally located for a longer visit and walk into the city. Our bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel. Although a long drive from Lincoln may have helped our sleep. The shower was excellent in terms of heat and power but the dated above bath holder and curtain let it down. It was too high and was best hand held or angered on the stability bar. That was a pity as otherise this was a nice hotel with great free parking.

Really good hotel.. friendly staff, free car parking space.. most important thing! very clean and tidy place.. 10/10

Comfort hotel great for business stay

Quite dated room. No tea making facilities or water provided in the room. Quite expensive bar food menu.

Good parking, clean and comfortable

Our room was in the older "main" building and the quality of this room was inferior to rooms in the "new" building.

Room was vert clean. Meal in the hotel restaurant was too expensive for the quality of the food, and staff was aged men, but with no apparent experience.

Ok hotel. Bed not comfortable, plastic bed cover so very hot to sleep and hard bed. Despite photos dated decor. No tea and coffee in room. 4 star hotel would presume is more for business

Stayed for 4 nights, arrived Thursday afternoon, been up since 4am so wanted a quick power-nap, got into bed to be greated by heavy hammer drilling, this went on for quite a while so contacted the reception just to see how long it would be going on, we were told there was no drilling in the hotel and it must of been outside, clearly this wasn't true as it was coming from the next room.... apart from this the hotel was great especially the breakfasts....

Very Convenient one night stopover on longer road trip into Europe. Reception was good, evening meal was very good and service throughout was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was very good. Nothing to complain about.

Very disappointing stay. Although advertised as a 4 star hotel, there were several issues with our stay. The hairdryers did not work (to which I was only offered a part broken tiny travel hairdryer), the only iron available was broken too and leaked water all over my clothes. The rooms are very dated with leaks from the showers, uncomfortable pillows, very dim and dark lighting and leftover sweets from prior guests were left in one of the rooms which makes me doubt that they were thoroughly cleaned (this seems to be common as mentioned in other reviews too). The housekeeping ladies were quite rude to my colleagues and the older lady receptionist was extremely rude, calling my colleagues room saying that they would be charged a fee if they were 1 minute past the check out time (very strange given that they had not reached the check out time yet). When I asked the receptionist for some advice about getting trains in Belgium, she just said that she doesn’t take public transport instead of trying to help in any way, you expect a little more from a customer service perspective from a 4 star hotel! Only plus was the good breakfast.

Good location between the city and the shopping Mall, good breakfast and good restaurant, friendly staff.

Very close to my business interest!

The hotels.com website caused me to book the wrong night. I pressed cancel but it didn't work. Now hotels.com are refusing to refund me. The hotel's systems were down, forcing us to wait in the foyer. They tried to charge us for having a cup of tea while we waited. The receptionist kept blaming their IT people, clearly unaware how customer service works (hint: when you're the face of the hotel you own the problem). When we finally got a room we found a 70's style brown room that was so dark we could barely see. There were no power sockets near the bed. The bedside lamps were too dim to read by. The bed and pilllows were far too soft so we felt we were being swallowed. Not an enjoyable stay at all.

One night stay with my son. Excellent!
