I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lecce, and I went in with pretty high expectations since it’s a 4 star hotel. On the positive side, it was nice enough for a stay in terms of basic convenience and the general location. However, I was genuinely surprised at how dated the room felt. Everything inside seemed quite old and a bit cramped, which didn’t match the four-star expectation I had. It just didn’t have that fresh, modern feel you’d hope for in a hotel of that rating. So while it was okay for a short stay, I have to say I was a bit disappointed by how outdated the room felt overall.

It was a lovely property with everything we needed although a bit of a walk into the city centre in the heat.

Thank you for a pleasurable stay. The only downfall is that the rooms are a little outdated.

Everything was excelent unless 2 items, one was the bathtub drain, was not working properly and it was a hole on the blanket for all my stay.

Lovely and quiet rooftop pool after a long walk around town. The hotel staff was super helpful.

The location is perfect, not far from the old city centre but in a quiet area, no noisy at all. The hotel looks very nice: clean and tidy. The staff is profess and gentle and the room big and comfortable. All great! Thank you.

Aux 20 minute walk to the main centre of Lecce but very doable…you know what you are getting with the Hilton so very satisfied!

Great place to stay

A nice hotel. Quite a walk to the old town.

Hotel and staff were nice. Breakfast was better than your average hotel. Rom was spacious and had a huge closet. Parking was close, right outside. We had a car and parked in an underground garage (Parkejoo) near the town when we visited the town. Would be about a 20 minute walk and lots of intersections and cross-streets. Plus we had a stroller. So we drove back and forth from hotel to middle of town.

The hotel was 20 minutes walk out of old town but in a nice neighbourhood with some great local cafes. The hotel was good but lacked a few things...The wifi was slow and not really accessible from pool area.. No milk pods in room, you had to purchase it from their pantry... The pillows were too soft and had no support We asked for more firm, possibly with neck support and they gave us a flat sponge pillow, no night than an inch, I've ended up with sore neck and shoulders from our 6 nights stay. Breakfast was great, with good selection and staff all winderful

The staff was great but too far from the city centre to be convenient for tourists . Taxis are expensive for short trips so add another 20-30 euro on your stay probably better to stay closer to the city centre I was streaming sport in the room at 9 am and they wouldn’t after paying for breakfast allow me to take my coffee and crossient to the room … just rubbish

Fine hotel, nice roof terrrace, worn down with stained carpets in the corridors. Breakfast confusing re new covid rules and very limited

Great hotel, amazing staff. The bar and restaurant are recommended. The room was wonderful! Just take into account you will have to pay for your pet even if it's a service dog.

Two day break following on from Polignano before our departure. Pool on the roof is good but windy and no bar although they will bring drinks up. Lunch was average and breakfast pretty much the same although very acceptable. Staff were very kind and attentive and room quality was good(suite) but the air conditioning let it down badly. Taxi drive to and from town at night as it’s a bit too far although it is walkable but when it’s still hot at 6pm it’s the last on your mind.
