I had a reservation at the hotel and then they sent me to an apartment three blocks away. That was fine once I found it. The Guest wifi in my room was absolutely terrible and I couldn’t connect. I was very lucky to have had my mobile hotspot on my iPhone. This saved me. But the cellular connection in Paderborn is also relatively poor so the connection was a bit dicey. I was in room Pader 801. They rent these rooms everyday, they should know by now that their guest wifi doesn’t work well and fix it.

Location was incredibly central to Paderborn's "Dom" and right on the Pader Spring/River. Very walkable to city, but also peaceful.

We left Paderborn 20 years ago so this was a chance to revisit nostalgia and spend a few days at the Christmas markets. Art Hotel was a super choice because it had thatxreal individual gaste stube feel and everythingwas as you would expect. Definitely recommended.

It is a great place to stay. We took advantage of the hotel bike rentals, which allowed us to explore the city. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful old building with plenty of charm. No frills but it did have a small fridge and nicely updated bathroom. Wish I could have stayed another day, very cool place.

Building and entrance/lobby area look great but the floors where the actual rooms are look dated with very dirty carpet - quite a stark contrast. The room itself was clean and spacious but is no tea/coffee making facilities available. Breakfast was ok but rather basic

Great little place! Booked it for our family when they came to visit. The temperature of the air conditioning is controlled by the front desk, so if it's not cold enough, just call and ask them to adjust it.

Had trouble getting the room. I reached at 10pm and the front desk guy didnt know English. I had a hard time telling him I have a reservation and entering the front lobby of hotel. I had to get help of another hotel patron to communicate with him. Eventually I had to pay for the room even though I had already paid in full through hotels.com. Took me a good 20mins to enter the room. Anyway room was good. Next morning, the front desk lady told me that they cancelled the additional charge. Hotel is ok but you may face trouble if you come in late since the night staff may not be able to speak English.

Very friendly receptionist and lovely Hotel, but we had expected that the Hotel is situated (as mentioned in the web site of Hotel.com) only 5 min walking distance from the train station and we had to experience that the Hotel was 25 walking minutes away. We were forced with our luggage to take a taxi both times - arriving and leaving the Hotel which we wanted to avoid.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were polite and attentive. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise with plenty of choice for all. The food was appetising and there was tea, coffee and fruit juice on offer throughout the meal. Overall, a very pleasant stay and if I'm ever in Paderborn again I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel, staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.room was comfortable and clean,only complaint it said room contained coffee & tea facility but none in room when we arrived although when we questioned this one was provided straight away.Great breakfast and good central location, would definately recommend.

The young people who worked at the hotel were fabulous. They did everything, worked the front desk, bar tended, cleaning staff, breakfast staff. Just great!The rooms were so comfortable , quiet, and close to old town and great shopping

Chosen because of its location and to suit a limited budget, we weren't expecting such a nice experience. Wonderful staff, gorgeous food, a very high standard of cleanliness and décor, complimentary parking round the corner. Its proximity to the Hard Rock bar next door had no adverse impact. Would definitely stay here again.
