Our contract with Expedia included transfers from and to airport. This was confirmed by Liz, US telephone agent a few days before leaving for holiday. In the event, transfers were not available and we had to pay €38 for taxis both ways. Having to collect keys from an office 200 metres away, whilst remainder of family waited at the resort with luggage, was an inconvenience. Also, the office was not identified by a building number and not easy to find. Finding a welcome note in the apartment would have been a nice feature but there was nothing only notices about onerous fines for non compliance with rules. Quality and quantity of cutlery and crockery in the apartment rather basic and well worn. No tin opener and cork screw of no use. Handle turned on stem making it impossible to remove a cork from a wine bottle. Absence of a dish cloth and tea towel. Toaster rather tired and dirty. Rather peculiar lounge furniture, with numerous small drawers but not really functional. Shower head fell off holder as soon as water was turned on. No plug for basin in bath room. Excellent swimming pool in complex but start of availability rather late at 10.30am. Lifeguard presence good. Security on site excellent. Proximity to superb beach a big plus. Very few bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of complex. Local bus service excellent. In summary, a rather tired apartment in a good complex and local vicinity.

Brilliant location next to the beach. Apartment not flashy but perfectly clean and comfortable for a holiday base and kitchen well equipped. Good clear instructions given for after hours check in but did need an extra bit of help to locate the apartment. Security man was very helpful and we got by with his English attempts and my Spanish….towels were provided which I wasn’t expecting but my towel, whilst clean, was full of holes.

Very good. Spacious apartment, clean and comfortable. Great swimming pool. Good security on site. City easily accessible by bus stop just 3 mins walk from complex.

The position of apartments were good. Just a short walk to the beach walkway. Arrived after office hours, so collection of keys in the dark was a bit stressful. Apartment could do with some updating and decorating. Never saw a cleaner in the five days we were there. So had to make do with what towels and toilet rolls etc. had been left for us. No instructions on how to use the air conditioning/heating, and found it a bit cold at night. Walls were thin and could hear every movement from apartment above. The drains were a bit smelly , especially in the mornings. But overall, we got what we paid for, so not complaining. Enjoyed our stay at Alboraya and would visit again.

Had a fantastic time in Valencia staying at the resort, The apartment was nice and clean and had everything as described online.The beach was 1 minute walk away was clean and buzzing with people over the weekend Special thanks to Ismail and Eva whom were brilliant and accommodated our every need when asked and are a credit to the company. Will stay again at the apartments next week when in Spain,

Pool was shut no keys worked when arrived felt very isolated

Very Nice appartement you fill at home superbe view swiming pool and patacona plage. I recommande this resort and I'll come back with my Family next year. The only négative point you are realy Near the highway but the access is very complicated.

a good place to stay relax for couple days next to the beach

Terms and conditions were very different from those which I received in the booking confirmation. It was written that I would pay the full amount on arrival at the location. The Agency, which has a contract with Hotels.com did take off 20 % money from my account after booking confirmation. Hotels.com does not know how to explain who did took the money from my account, although I have ask that I want to know if they collaborate with Sole mare e vento. After two times confirming that they do not cooperate with this agency I canceled my bank card and report to the police. For eleven nights I did want to admit one night gratis –this was written on booking conformation. On agency did not know about that bonus. – I made complaint and they did give me than one night gratis. The cost of the journey by taxi would be € 6 per person per accommodation, which is not true, because we for 5 people in one direction have to pay 50 Euro (2 taxi). I am very disappointed by the way the various conditions upon booking and then the accommodation. Personal in resort does't speak english at all.

the "hotel" is a sub-let apartment located at Mare Nostrum 15. Not 7 (as listed on the confirmation). There is no metro in the vicinity. The entrance is VERY difficult to find and more difficult to be granted access. We were responsible for washing our own towels, providing toiletries, maintaining the room, emptying the trash cans, etc... The HVAC did not work. The room's wifi was not available (confirmed by reception). The pool is only open after June. Cafeteria staff were the most wonderfully part of this stay.

Excellent location close to beach , with pool and tennis courts.

The apartment complex is a bit hard to find. The parking is very limited and the big iron fence makes one wonder if it's a safe place. Lots of tagging in the surrounding walls. It's funny to see all of people's dirty items on the inner corridor. The place was clean but the pillows, blankets and towels smelled. But it was very close to the beach, walked right across to it.

Simple accommodation. Uncomfortable beds, dirty and old sofa. Dirty utensils in the kitchen. Long walk to access public transport.

This place was ok. Our apartment was big, a 2 bedroom for 2 people. Full kitchen was great, same with fridge and freezer, washing machine also. Location was just off beach however it was a long walk to any supermarkets etc. about 4km each way. Wifi was also only available in reception area. For the price very acceptable.

Large, clean and modern apartment with great views. Excellent location for beach, but not so good for shops, port or town. Lovely big pool, though sun loungers would have been a nice addition. Office is a few doors down, but easy to find and helpful, advise going there on first day for info if pick up key from reception.

Fantastic family holiday. Easy reach of beach. Pool at resort greàt for everyone. Terrace in room super. Highly recommend.

Very good location, peaceful and ideal for a beach break. Pool is preety nice too. Only downside is that the supermarket is bit of a distance.

Very rude, you have to walk very far with luggage from drop off because there is no service or cart. Air conditioner filthy. Smells like an ashtray and faucets barely give water. Never stay here. I want my money back!!!

Booked this 'hotel' apartment for two adults and three children. Trying to get hold of the keys for the apartment was a task and a half (took 90 minutes to locate the place to pick up the keys. Located on the outskirts of Valencia. Perfect location, close to the beach. Not many close-by amenities... a few cafes. No supermarket for miles around. Hotel itself was very nice, with nice pool, private, secured entrance. Hotel room was nothing exceptional but met the purpose of our stay. Contract provided did not give any information regards departure time. We expected 48 hours for the two nights we stayed there. Rudely disturbed during our lunch on final day and asked to leave within 30 minutes (very difficult to do with three young children). Overall, served its purpose. Our next hotel in Alicante was a 4* Golf Resort with 100% better accommodation.
