Overall, this was a good hotel experience. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. My negative feedback is that the advertised hot breakfast was missing plates, forks, gravy for the biscuits, and cinnamon rolls. It was like someone forgot to order nearly everything. Also, the breakfast area floor was really sticky. The coffee was edible, but barely.

Nice and clean

We had a great stay and the room was very nice but there was a very loud generator or something that was running all night and did impact our sleep.

Every time we visit Topeka this is our go to Hotel. We choose the king size suite which is very roomie and spacious.

Staff was very friendly and helpful

I don’t like that I have to request housekeeping. We stayed a total of 5 nights and our room was only cleaned once even though we requested multiple times for cleaning. Also all they did was make the bed and replenish towels. They didn’t vacuum or do a thorough cleaning.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express because it was close to my family. It did not disappoint. The staff were so very friendly, polite, and helpful. For example, when we requested a shower chair (my husband is handicapped), we had a chair in less than five (5) minutes. There was plenty of options for breakfast, all as tasty as the next. The only draw back is that the front right side of the parking lot has some big potholes. So just be careful when you drive around the building. But that is a very minor thing compared to the rest of the hotel, staff, and amenities! We will stay there again when we come back to visit.

Everything was great.

The room was dirty. There was blood on the baseboard under the sink. the AC unit has a musty smell like it had not been cleaned.

Front desk check-in was wonderful, the young lady was friendly and very accommodating. My room is spotless and updated.

My husband is in a wheelchair. The bed is too high for him to transfer into without my lifting him. At 78 it was a difficult task. The bed was also very soft which further made it difficult. Other than the bed situation the meal and facilities were very nice.

Nice staff. Great breakfast. Large white things in bottom of pool. No hot tub and it was advertised) main reason I went there pool and hot tub). No blow dryer or pens or paper in room. I was in town for a funeral and had wet hair and couldn’t filll out card. Elevator dirty. Looked like someone sneezed all over it.

I was disappointed to find out that I could have gotten a cheaper room by just stopping there instead of booking online which took me to Expedia

Great bed

not hotels fault but they had a ton of kids from some basketball team running through the hall screaming throwing food it was a nightmare again not the hotels fault but having those kids sports teams is usually a nightmare they’re guardian should’ve been notified and have gotten them under control the hotel did not do a good job at that

New rooms...extremely clean hotel

It was nice quiet stay. With a ton of places around to go eat or shop or even get food and bring it back. Hotel staff was all wonderful to us. Will be back to them

My bath tub had what looked like rust all over the bottom which was gross and we didn't want to step on. The beds were very hard and there was strange plumbing noises early in the morning. Staff was nice.

very friendly staff rooms were super clean and well taken care of snack bar had many options for the kids. Overall great hotel we will definitely return
