quick efficient friendly check in, modern lift, nice size room, recently renovated, limited tv channels (no English) but football every evening until late so a”happy bunny” super brekky including small circles of ham with onion (delicious) sausages in tomato, tasty scrambled egg, rolls, etc etc & very drinkable coffee with a quality taste! didn’t try dinner as “Argentina time” (start 9pm!), but lots of choices within 5 minutes walk including buffet for R30 which I tried & included beef, pork & chicken (and live football). recommended

Great staff, didn’t enjoy the bathroom, the tails were dirty. It was disgusting.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Had a shower problem since our arrival, as touching the shower knobs was giving an electric shock. The staff were very helpful and transfered our daughers to another room, but our room showed the same problem. They sent a technician, it was solved the first day then happened again and again. And we had to update our key card every day, as it stopped opening the door. Too many problems for such a short stay.

Don't stay here! I had no choice because my original hotel had overbooked their rooms. This hotel was old and run down, the room smelled horrible (lack of cleaning) and the bathroom had no water pressure or hot water! Breakfast was decent. But the staff was friendly.

Hotel Foz do Iguacu was extremely run down! Which is a shame because if it were repaired and maintenance were kept up, it would be a treasure! Pictures online do not truthfully depict the condition of the hotel. Their credit card reader was not functioning and our reservation through Expedia was lost. In our room, the bathroom light and fan would not turn on. We tried exchanging the light bulbs with some we knew worked and checked the electrical box to see if the breaker had kicked off. Nothing helped. Maintenance was called but never came. The lights in the main room flickered on and off all night. The phone didn't work. We had reserved 2 nights but moved after one night into a very comfortable, clean, well kept hotel one block away for less than we had to pay at Hotel Foz do Iguacu.

De início tive problemas no check-in, o funcionário da recepção queria cobrar o valor no check-in, sendo que, afirmei a ele que eu já havia pago no momento da reserva. Estava super calor, estavamos cansados, eu estava com criança pequena e perdi mais de meia hora no check-in para ele verificar, e ainda precisei mandar todos os prints da minha reserva e print da minha fatura do cartão de crédito para confirmar que havia creditado. Hotel antigo, ar condicionado ficava pingando ao lado da cama, o chuveiro não esquentava (tomamos banho frio), instalações bem antigas. A reserva era de um quarto triplo (casal + criança) ao chegar, eram 3 camas de solteiro, juntamos as camas para dormir, não solicitei a troca do quarto pois já estavamos cansados e haviamos tido muitos problemas, não queria passar por uma troca de quarto. Enfim, foi um caos, não recomendo e não voltarei.

Vale muito a pena, super fácil para locomoção.
