This is a no frills hotel. You check in, you go to your room and don't expect much more. No frills place to stay. Front desk keeps normal office hours. After 6pm you let yourself in or out until 8am next day (no one there to help). Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. There was a small free coffee space open from 9am-3pm but we never were there to use it. Street noise was a problem over the weekend late at night but not unbearable. Bed and bathroom were small. The bathroom was super super tight. If you are a bigger person it might be a problem. We did a have a nice balcony but it was so hot, we wound up using it for drying our clothes.

What a great place! Whatever you think about hostels, be prepared to change your mind. Wonderfully located and with fantastic staff, Trebol is a gem in Malaga. Rooms were snug but great and the kitchen and tea/coffee were very welcome. I'd absolutely recommend for your next stay in Malaga - staff were super helpful too.

The room was on the small side but very comfortable and the location was great for food at the market a block away and tourist attractions. The staff was super helpful. For the budget traveler it’s a wonderful option.

Stayed Feb 2026 for 10 days and this hotel is a 10 out of 10. I love how central it is to restaurants, shops and mercado. The outdoor private balcony was also a nice touch.
