Clean, comfortable room. Super friendly staff. Walking distance to the amazing Berkeley Castle.

Very quick and efficient check in. Creaky floorboards in bedroom and sadly very noisy guests which didn’t help with sleep. However barman very welcoming when asked for ice. Breakfast very tasty although service slow.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the food was good. The rooms are very tired and in need of update.. especially the bathrooms. The price charged does not align with the hotel quality.

Great place to stay, a short walk from Berkeley castle. Nice big room, comfortable bed with large bathroom. No reception but had no problem contacting staff who were obliging and friendly.

Wendy was very helpful and 'very helpful,cooking was lovely,asked for mushy peas not on the menu ,but said we will see what we can do,yes got mushy peas with my steak pie very nice

We stayed at the Malt House because it was a convenient location neary relatives.I feel it was overpriced for what was on offer here.Breakfast was ok,there could be more options.The room was dated,especially the bathroom.It was dfficult for my elderly father to get in the shower over the bath,infact he didn't have the confidence to use it as he felt he might fall.

Lovely warm and efficient welcome by kindly staff and the room was well kitted out and very clean and quiet.

A good winter's break at the Malt House. Our room was a little small, (it would have been good to have had a bedside cupboard on both sides of the bed). This was more than made up for by the very comfortable bed, good quality bed linen and towels, plenty of hot water and general cleanliness. A full English breakfast (included in the cost) was on offer each morning with good variety of tasty evening meals. Staff were friendly and most accommodating. Thank you.

Amazing pub! Great bar & restaurant with beamed ceilings. The food is excellent as is the beer. Rooms are large and airy with a very comfortable bed. Thoroughly recommended!

The Malt House is lovely and staff so friendly. The room was spotless and bed comfy. They did have a skittles match going on but this was explained on arrival. Food was lovely for our evening meal and breakfast offered a good selection and was very tasty.
