Tito is a wonderful host. He was very welcoming and had a good sense of humour. The hotel is beautiful, just the right mixture of classy Spanish and homeliness. There was a log fire waiting for us when we arrived.

It’s a lovely bijou jewel of a place set in a run down old village square. Delicious dinner and a quiet evening in the lounge.

Lovely rural hotel in convenient location for our trip . Run by Tito himself very proud of his beautiful hotel , garden and pool. Everything immaculate and ful of individual charm and character . Breakfast on the terrace under the vines overlooking the sparkling pool- what could be better! Room comfortable, well equipped with kettle and tea making facilities (unusual for Spain) but rather dark in the style of an old rural building, would certainly visit again, but would get training on opening the window shutters before bedtime!

Beautiful spot, 10 mins drive from Ubeda. Tito and his wife are amazing hosts. Everything from the kitchen is home made which is a great touch.

Tito couldn’t be a more charming host. The breakfast was terrific and all homemade ingredients. The rooms were very quiet which was a welcome change from Madrid. The grounds and common areas are quite modest and a bit tired but it was a value for the money.

I loved this place! It has a great rural atmosphere, and Toto, the owner, is very receptive and helpful. Since it is about five miles from Ubeda, you will need a car.

Located five minutes drive outside of Ubeda the property is easy to find especially with sat nav and is in a hamlet setting that at first glance does not look particularly nice but in truth with a little exploration has lots to offer (ruined chapel and old finca with stunning views). Upon arrival I was personally greeted by Tito with a warm welcome and firm handshake. He assisted me at checkin, helped with luggage and wifi codes etc and made arrangements for dinner. I was left for a few hours to enjoy the wonderful gardens, swim in the pool and relax. After a hearty meal of cold gazpacho style soup, a huge mice filled pastry and indulgent cheesecake washed down with an ice cold local beer. The rooms themselves are small and motel style but in full keeping with the property. They are clean and offer all the basics. The rooms are in a shaded courtyard section and there is a shaded car parking area available for 5€ per night. Breakfast was a continental affair of bread, pastry and fruit with ample coffee and fruit juice. Perfect for starting the day and for my long journey. A great stay in a stunning property, gardens and location, topped off by great regional food and a hospitable owner. I will be back again next year.

Lovely guesthouse in a quiet hamlet not too far from the main road. Owner kind and helpful who spoke some English and directed us to nearby taverna with food. More restaurant options available in nearby Ubeda. Recommended.

We stayed here for four nights. The location is very quiet and peaceful and ideal for visiting the historic sites of Ubeda and Baeza. The proprietor is very kind and helpful and dinner is available if you want it. The bedrooms are a little small but this is a minor criticism for a charming rural retreat.

Pleasant if you want peace and quiet. Description of 'rooms with garden view' are somewhat misleading, we could see the car park and asked for an alternative room. We were given a 1st floor room overlooking the car park and the host explained that he considered all of this his garden. We were charged 5€ for parking a motorcycle but were not told about this until we received the bill. The residence is in a fairly remote location and 6 k from the nearest town

A place that deserves at least 3 stars - for its position, out in the country but within easy reach of many major places; for its atmosphere and friendliness (a glass of sherry on arrival); for its delightful swimming pool; for its excellent breakfasts. It is in a quiet location, looking towards the Sierra Nevada mountains. A real retreat!

Op het platteland. Heerlijk rustig.

Yderst roligt.
