By far the hostel that best meets their needs while in Japan. Available towels, toothbrushes, slippers and pajamas. The toiletries are all shiseido and very very complete, until the comb is available. Room size is spacious, there is space for prayer. There is a TV, although it is rarely turned on. Breakfast bread and a large selection of latte, juice, tea. Hostel near from exit 5 of Shijo Station. Exit the station turn left. The hostel is in the first left alley. For women who live on the 5th floor, the bathroom is only on the 4th floor. It's a bit troublesome. But like the atmosphere and completeness of this hostel. Will come again if you go to Kyoto.

The reception area are located on fourth floor while the cabins are located from 3rd to 5th. They don't put a sign telling you where the reception is until you get to the elevator with small sticker attached next to the floor button. The flooring are uneven so I have to carry my suitcase up and down while getting to my cabin. I booked for first class capsule, the bed they provide are a very hard spring bed without cushion cover on top of it. The air conditioner are so small you can barely notice the difference. Loud snore from other cabin across mine are heard throughout the night. The shower area are also limited. They only have 7 shower pods and 4 wash basins for the whole 2 floors approximately 40-50 capsules. The soap and shampoo smelt funny, I don't know what they're using. I'm paying extra 500¥ for breakfast hoping to get some nice choices of cereals, toast, and others like they mentioned. What I actually get was one bowl of grain cereal, limited white bread, cold boiled eggs, and I guess the only thing that I enjoy from the breakfast is the coffee machine.

Good overall experience, but the connecting door within the woman only floor plus interior of lift need fixing.

First Cabin is the best capsule hotel that I ever visited in Japan! It very near to Shoji Station, has a proper space, and very great facilities (include hairdryer and branded shampoo and soap 😂), with very nice staff!

Photo updates are required for room type. Because the business class turns out to be smaller than the superior class. And the price paid lbh expensive ?! The advantages of business class can only be breakfast. Clean room, clean bathroom, vending machine and complete smashing washing room. Location not far from subway. And not far from where the rental kimono.
