Overall solid stay. Room was a bit small, but still comfortable. Also the breakfast was fantastic - one of the best we had during our time in Norway.

Beautiful properry with friendly staff. Might be a 10 minute walk to downtown but worth the peace and quiet. Restaurant had excellent food and service and the Seasons Spa was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at St Elisabeth Hotel. Very modern, clean and warm. We loved the breakfasts in the panoramic restaurant, the free coffee/hot choc vending melachine. We had a late check-in and the system worked perfectly, as did the taxi collection service. We wanted the view of Tromso and the tranquility and enjoyed the short walk into the centre. We would definitely return.

This hotel is just like a YMCA hostel! We were told there was only packed breakfast! The room they offered us was no bigger than a broom cupboard so we asked to be moved. The room was slightly better but still plain and sparse. In the morning we didn’t get breakfast and there was no reception, just shutters pulled down. So we phoned up Amelia hotel which was in same group so we moved there. Don’t bother booking into the st Elisabeth hotel because it nothing like the description. Probably the worst hotel that I’ve ever been in. Save your money and book into one of the other Enter group hotels. !!!!!

It was a lovely hotel with magical views across Tromsø. The staff were polite and really helpful. It’s just a short walk from the town centre but not an inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again.

The overall stay was okey. The common area is fully stocked with coffee and tea. And there is a small kitchen with a small fridge. The room was also clean but is not carpeted. So even if the heater was in maximum level, the room was still a bit cold. It would be nice for the guests to be informed that the hotel was previously a hospital and used as clinic now.

I booked a twin room for two colleagues. This specifically mentioned in messaging to the hotel and the twin room specifically booked. The guys get to their room late after a long day of work and travel and there’s one bed in the room. I think telling me so I could have booked somewhere that could accomodate them would have been a reasonable thing to do which would have avoided a hard working tired person having to sleep on a floor.

Absolutely horrible.. I have stayed in 400 plus hotels in 30 plus countries n this was disgusting for the value u pay.its a one star property with no basic amenities such as a kettle in the room or clean sheets and a proper blanket.. not to mention no basic toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom..also the hotel has a hospital on one of the floors and it's such a negative feeling..the staff at reception especially Elisabeth is not at all helpful and accommodating n kind..would never stay again and would strongly recommend a no for this place

Pool closed, no water, no parking. This is the worst hotel I have been ever. Staff told us they had a problem with pool pipes and that eas the reason to close the pool and no water but the prices for room were exactly the same for a one star or less hotel service.

The hotel is about 10mins drive from airport. I saw the northern lights while driving to the hotel, which was a big bonus! The breakfast was basic, but plenty of it. the hotel booklet said that the gym would be open at 7am, so I got up early and went there at 7am, and waited 25 mins and no one showed up, which was annoying, as I could have stayed in bed. I would stay here again, the gym look very good from what I could see though the glass door!

My partner and I were in Tromsø for 4 days to “chase” the Northern Lights. We picked the St. Elisabeth Hotel frankly because they had rooms at an affordable (Norway “affordable”) rate and a good, if not ideal, location. After our stay I am not sure I would have cared to stay anywhere else. My partner’s luggage did not arrive on our flight and the help at the front desk telephoned all around to help us track it down. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was polite, friendly and willing to do whatever we needed to make our stay enjoyable. True it is about a 10-15 minute walk to get to the center of town, but it is an easy walk and twice we saw the “Lights” on the walk back to the hotel. Ølhallen, the best bar in town (in my opinion), is less than a 10 minute walk. The breakfast (an additional 105 kr) is amazing and served on the top floor with a gorgeous view over the city. Some reviewers have complained about the cost of parking but the hotel does not own the land they sit on so the parking fees are the standard Tromsø public parking fees...the St. Elisabeth Hotel has no say in those rates. Our stay was very nice and I would do it again if I ever found myself in Tromsø.

Good friendly hotel. Very helpful staff. Took a kettle but they do supply a small kitchen on each floor and a sitting area on each floor. Great for talking to your friends in comfort. Maria was especially helpful telling us where to eat etc.
