It's a nice place, far from everything. We got a villa with too many stairs, and no one helped us with our luggage. There's no milk for coffee and the hotel doesn't supply it either

Very spacious and modern place. Nice pools available, great kids playground. Very peaceful and tranquil. If anything, it was very windy when we were there, and also cool for the season, but otherwise, perfect stay.

We stayed for a total of six days exploring the local towns and found this was an excellent starting base. Lots of room in the villas. Quiet and convenient. Being situated in the country made it a great escape at the end of the day. Would definitely stay again.

My villa is simply fantastic. Huge, a fabulous view, a fantastic living room overlooking the park. The pools were freezing so I did not use them. The gym NEEDS TO IMPROVE: it's too small and with limited exercise machines. The entrance doors are run down and I was told they will redo them in the near future. They need to be taken care of. A down point: there is NO supermarket inside the resort so you will have to drive 20 minutes to the nearest supermarket. So if you drive you may be ok, but if you don't drive remember to bring food otherwise every taxi trip will cost you between 16 and 20 Euros (anything more they are trying to rip you off).

Big apartment with 3 levels with fully equipped kitchen and living room. Very nice views over a golf course and apartments well fitted in the scenery. Very good value for money, considering the size of the apartment! Very relaxing and quiet.

Wow - what an amazing house. A few points - swimming pool looks like it is not well maintained and flaking. The master bedroom smells terrible - perhaps an animal had an accident. The house is well equipped for longer stays. If the less positive points are sorted out, I will definitely come back next time and stay longer.

As described. Pretty clean inside and spacious apartments. The check in is not until 5pm which is far too late though in my opinion. And they aren’t willing to compromise on it at all. I’ve been here two years in a row now and they do not compromise. Poor show there - latest check in I have ever heard of.

A very nice fold course with apartments around it. While the apartments are new so are the ants in the kitchen. If you come bring food and Staples as the Mercado never opens. If the hotel is fine atar you would expect the, otherwise great staff, to take you to the room and inspect it so as to clarify the minor deficienciea. This is is no more than a 4 star hotel that needs a review of management and their policies.

We did not stay in the hotel. We had 3 villas. The units are very comfortable, spacious, clean and very well decorated. Of course, it is not walking distance to anything, but that is also part of what you are looking for when staying here. I loved the architecture, but others in my group of 7 were not excited about it. Very modern, but definitely not for everyone. It can come across as very impersonal.

Bom Successo is a large golf resort with very modern comfortable self-catering apartments about an hour north of Lisbon. We didn't play golf, we only used it as a base. Plus Points - modern, comfortable, clean, spacious, well equipped apartment with private outdoor terrace. Swimming pool near to apartment. Resort is well located near the old town of Obidos and there are several nice beaches a short drive away. Neutral points - you need a car. The resort is very large and it felt more like Florida as we approached the entrance with wide roads and gated, walled communities. Negative Points - the resort has the potential to be stunning but it feels like they've run out of money and only half of it is functioning. The grounds felt half finished with more plants needed and half the resort is incomplete - there's no construction going on, it's just half-built buildings.

We booked a weeks break at Bom Succeso for a chance to switch off . We found it too isolated ...even with a car , not enough to do and very few people at the resort at all . Lots of unfinished things . I'm sure it would be fine if you simply wanted to play golf but not for anything else
