The location is excellent, scenic, perfect for families. The children (lots of them of young age) were well behaved. The hotel and surrounding area has many things for young kids and for adults. The meals (optional) were excellent at the brasserie. We did not try the restaurant with 4 course meal. The library was a beautiful room in which to work (or play board games) with a glass of wine. I would make one suggestion that at check in they should give you a tour of the room so that you know all room features (including how to turn off the standing floor lamp — switch on top). There is no AC but a nice fan (which we did not notice on first night. Still, there was an iPad with all hotel features provided. I think one could play music on iPad and it will play in each room? All in all worth the money The pool is natur so if you don’t like algae, you may not want to swim

Spacious rooms for European standards, no air conditioning. Lots of mosquitos during the summer months. Friendly staff, but it all felt a bit dated.

We loved this place. The staff were superb and the setting was absolutely stunning. Almost deserted beaches within 5min walk, and lovely sand at that, great cycle path going through beautiful green canopies. And the food was superb, spa staff so helpful, smiley and friendly. Loved it and will be back!

Sedate and secluded location near to the beach. On the beautiful lawn, champagne and wine bar with tables was setup for social distancing seating. Staff wore PPE. I was impressed and appreciative of the thoughtfully implemented protection of our health.

Wonderful hotel in lovely surroundings. Comfortable, great rooms. Great staff. Enjoyed treatment at spa (hot stone massage and facial) very much. Breakfast and dinners great. Perhaps restaurant is a little pricey.

We booked a deluxe room and the allocated room met most of our expectation as we had stayed in a similar hotel in France (i.e. a renovated chalet) which also was very good. We had a room in the old but well renovated chalet, but there are other rooms in a new building that do not appear in the photos on the web sit, and so our comments do not apply to those rooms. Our room had been furnished as a Japanese room, and while it was tastefully decorated, the Japanese bed is very low, and there were no seats in the room. as a cushion was provided for sitting on!. There was a small table and a chair to allow for computer use and writing. Otherwise the room was very good, and so was the free Internet. We are not sure about a Japanese style room in Germany!! Given its location in the country side, and not far from a beach, you would need a car to get to it as it is not near any transport. The breakfast was good, and it felt like being in a good quality hotel, so it is a good 4 star hotel as claimed. Happy to stay here again.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Schlossgut Groß Schwansee bietet auch im Winter bei Schnee am Ostseestrand die Möglichkeit, sich vom Trubel der Großstadt zu erholen. Wir fühlten uns bestens umsorgt.

Vidunderligt sted, tæt på strand, smukt restaureret, lækre værelser, uovertruffen service og lækker mad, absolut et besøg værd, og bestemt et sted vi altid vil huske på.

Weekendophold. Meget flot hotel med gode faciliteter. Ligger ned til Østersøen. Smukt område. Ikke mange turister.

Det har absolut intet at gøre med et spa hotel - 2 små saunaer. Forstå ikke helt hvordan man kan give det 5 stjerner, meget kedelige værelser og kedelig mad. Konstant dårlig musak i restauranten med kold belysning. Det var dyrt ophold og så kostede parkering så også.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war immer sehr freundlich, stets zuvorkommend und nahm sich bei Fragen viel Zeit. Ebenso im Restaurant. Ein Lob an die fleißigen Kellnerinnen und Kellner! Sie blieben auch bei 'schwierigen' Gästen ruhig und höflich. Ein besonderes Lob an die Küche! Alles hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Wir haben selten so gut gespeist (in dem toll renovierten Speisesaal muss man das so sagen!). Auch die Umgebung des Hotels ist sehr schön. Wie die Fürsten gingen nein schritten wir durch die Allee zur höchstens fünf Minuten entfernten Ostsee. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

En fantastisk upplevelse. Charmigt, fräscht och så rofyllt. En jättefin juniorsvit med rymligt badrum, stor öppen garderob och fin utsikt. Här fanns en proffsig restaurang, naturpool, gycklar att låna, 500m till havet, nyrenoverad bastu. Vänlig personal och fin frukost. Tyst och trygg miljö!

Dejlige omgivelser, go mad og perfekt betjening

Hotel ist ruhig und schön gelegen. Der Ostsee Küsten-Radweg ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt. Fast alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer hatte Blick ins grüne, es gab keine störende Außenbeleuchtung. Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Einzig zu bemängeln, für Menschen mit Einschränkungen in der Bewegung ist eine Badewanne als Dusche evtl. ungeeignet. Essen war gut, hätte manchmal etwas kreativer sein können. Das Restaurant, die Brasserie bietet ausreichend Platz, nur leider wenig Gemütlichkeit. Der vordere Raum hat wenige gemütliche Ecken, die sehr beliebt sind. Der hintere Raum ist recht spartanisch eingerichtet und hat zum Teil abgeklebte Fesnster. Hat uns nicht gefallen. Es war leider nicht möglich einen Wunschtisch zu reservieren. Der Wellnessbereich war für die Anzahl an Gästen viel zu klein, soll aber in kürze renoviert werden.

Wunderschön ruhig gelegen, mitten in der Natur – perfekt für eine erholsame Auszeit. Der Strand ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Gebäude selbst haben eine charmante, historische Ausstrahlung und sind liebevoll erhalten. Ideal für alle, die Entspannung, Natur und ein authentisches Ambiente suchen.
