The staff was fantastic and it is a short walk away from the downtown core, while still not being in a touristy area. It's perfect for extended stays with its pool, near by laundry services, and restaurants that don't operate on "French time" lol. We will stay there again.

We were very disappointed with this hotel and definitely would not stay here again. We booked it as an overnight stop on our drive to Spain. The pictures of the hotel do not accurately reflect the condition of the rooms. The rooms were more akin to student accommodation with filthy, stained threadbare carpets and very dated, slightly mouldy bathrooms. Both rooms we booked smelt of damp, were freezing cold and very noisy due to the single-pane windows and strong winds outside. We arrived five minutes before check-in, after travelling for twelve hours with small children. The person on reception saw us outside the front door with our bags and locked the door, leaving us standing in the rain for five minutes until the official check-in time. This was also the only hotel we have ever stayed in that did not provide tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. Staying here with our children was a depressing, horrible experience and one we will not be repeating.

Lovely stay in a delightful, friendly establishment. Super breakfast, the option to order in a very nice meal and our dog was made very welcome.

I think the idea is that it is older so it's a little seasoned or cultured or something. It just seemed worn out.

This is a great family run hotel. We were greeted warmly on our arrival and shown to our room. The room wasn’t overly large but was very clean and comfortable. Our breakfast the next morning had good variety with the most important feature - good coffee.

Very friendly welcome. Nice, clean rooms if slightly small but VERY comfy beds. Breakfast was well worth €8.50 and a pleasant breakfast room to sit in. Pool looked nice enough but did not use as it was raining. Nice enough part of town but close enough to walk in to the centre. Would stay again.

Looks very nice in photo's but bears no resemblance to the rooms in reality. Our room in the annexe was not up to standard expected. The room and bathroom were clean but in serious need of some updating. Wood around the shower rotten and a hole in the wall. Cracked toiled/basin. We declined break fast having spent a night in the room but were told we would have to pay and after explaining our position we were eventually not charged . Breakfast appeared to be 2 very small croissants and a limited selection of cheese and ham. Much better can be found at local patisserie. Hotel in an area with nothing around and a good 20 minute walk to town. Added tax of 4 Euros each despite Expedia advising a rate of Euro 1.38 . I would not recommend this hotel.

Perfect for a one night stop en route to south of France. Very friendly staff. Had family room which was very large. Hotel/room dated and could do with a refresh (would say 80s decor) and bathroom needs updating. However for one night was fine and beds very comfortable. Word of warning though.. if you try to get into Bourges for a meal without reserving don’t bother! We ended up at a fast food outlet as everywhere was booked up in advance.

Good overnight stop on way to the south although room a little bit basic. Has a pool and sunny garden though and air con. Slept well and lovely city to have dinner in

We had a very good overnight stay. We were made very welcome and a late request for a ground floor room for someone recovering from a broken leg was met. The bed was so comfortable and quiet that we overslept but our breakfast was still waiting and this was very good. We would definitely use the hotel again.

We were in the annexe, not the main hotel. The room was comfortable but rather shabby in the decor. Shower very good but towels thin and small. Couldn't find the remote for the a/c, which luckily we didn't need. Did not try pool due to the weather, nor take breakfast, so cannot comment. We've stayed at better for less.
