A fabulous hotel with a wonderful staff! Come to CityLoft and be treated like royalty. Right on the tram line and everything is less than a 10 minute walk. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchens are well appointed with everything you may need, the shower has endless hot water and even a bathtub! The air conditioning was essential in the summer. We stayed for 3 months thanks to a generous long-stay discount. We would highly recommend this place and plan to return!

Room 220 is on the main where team runs at 4 am till 12 midnight .The hotel Manager Christina is rude never reply to greetings and dont understand English at all. Nazmik and Louise are very friendly and gave best customer service .They dont clean the rooms at as there are dead Flies at the window .

Room 210 is super! Booked a room at the last minute. Checked in at 10pm. The staff was great. We were pleasantly surprised at the excellent space. Corner room with beautiful views of downtown Saint Etienne. Apartment style with kitchen and separate bedroom. Halles Mazerat Saint-Etienne - Biltoki is a short block away. As well as an active nightlife with many restaurants within a few blocks. Highly recommended lodging.

By far the best hotel in the whole Loire Valley. I know, you’re skeptical. Stay in an 1890’s Second Empire building with modern conveniences- YES! Be located less than a block from 18 cafes and restaurants - YES! Hop on an electric tram 15 meters from the hotel that can whisk you to the stadium, the train station, the planetarium and a dozen other great places -YES! And the best part of this hotel is the hardworking staff that are onsite and knowledgeable in the highlights of this gem of a city. We stayed one night because we had to, and 3 months because we loved it so much. I look forward to my next opportunity to stay at the CityLofts St Etienne!

Rooms are good, great location! Close to restaurants, Les Halles, Tram, Indoor Parking. Only downside is the noise if your room has a window next to the street.
