I liked the water feature that doubled as a shower on the way to the cafeteria. Really clever of them to include that.

I fully understand that the star ratings are very contradictory. Please let me explain: I've stayed in this hotel approx 15 times and everything is great. However, there was a crucial, huge problem this time which made staying there very unpleasant. I am independently taking this matter up with Expedia as I repeatedly tried to get some advice and support, but got nowhere so I shouldn't comment on this here. My first 2 nights were as always - great. Lovely facities, very clean, great staff, nice room, big balcony. However, external parties had booked all public facities and so from Fri morning until (?) very late Sat night, I couldn't: Use the pool/go in the garden/get a drink/use the terrace/have any food/have a table or chair etc. The music was so loud on the Saturday well into the night that I couldn't sit on my own balcony and it was so loud even in my room, lots of singing, shouting, chanting as well. I asked to speak to the owner/boss/manager and constantly told that there was noone there. It turned out that there was: she'd just told the staff to say there wasn't. When I eventually spoke to her, she told mw that if was just my bad luck, that I should go out to eat or get something from the supermarket. She was vile. I asked, of course for a refund, and she told me that if I wanted to leave then I could, but that I'd get no refund. The staff told me that the owners regularly double-book to make lots of money. Horrible.

Ordered triple room, but was additional third bed was not ready when we entered. Lady at reception was not really friendly. However, the lady from housekeeping who brought the extra bed was very helpful. Overall pleasant stay, though little bit expensive.

The bedroom was spacious and nice. The hotel was well situated close to town and a supermarket. However, the hotel is also be side the bullring and fairground and the night we stayed there was the first night of fiesta. The fairground started about 10.00pm and the noise went on to 4.00am. Sleep was very difficult and broken.

+ Close to a large supermarket and a massive 'warehouse' type shop which was excellent. + excellent pool and sunbeds, peaceful + room had a fridge + about 10 miles/20 mins drive to Gibraltar - Nothing else nearby, no little shops, nowhere to walk to - balcony chairs were in terrible condition

Very Close to Gibraltar, nice quiet Hotel with a balcony and nice views. Not much is the direct vicinity but served us well enough. Pool was small and filled with non hotel guests so we did not bother.

This hotel is nothing like its described in Expedia. It's very old and there is zero insulation in walls. There is a loud party room downstairs and the noise carries right into the room. I measured the noise level at 87db with the iPhone noise meter at 3:50 am when I could no longer sleep. My kids were awake most of the night. When I asked the staff what was going on they said the response was 'Party, can't do anything. Be patient'. So take my advice and find a better place.

Checked in to a surly unfriendly desk clerk. The lobby was unimpressive and looked like a 2-3 star hotel. However the rooms were great. Lovely doors going in to the rooms. Walls lines with marble. The cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a hotel. Plush towels and wonderful amenities. Sadly the bird "poo" and nest on the balcony was kind of sad. Breakfast was very good however once again the staff in the breakfast room didn't greet us, didn't smile and was grumpy. The hotel rooms are great! The staff need a lesson in courtesy.

Comfortable hotel in a good location close to the motorway and the bull ring. Newly built and in good condition, very clean. Lacks some character as a result.

Booked this hotel as a bolt hole for trip to Tangier and we were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean with a spacious bathroom and cute balcony. Hotel recommended an amazing tapas bar for dinner and very helpful with all our queries. Great find!
