Stayed for a work event with no issues.

We had a lovely stay with a very comfortable bed and lots of hot water. The breakfasts and roadt dinner that we had were top notch. The staff were welcoming and very helpful.

Bedroom was of a good size and well maintained but the dark colours make the room look dated. Most rooms are at ground level and you can park the car outside your bedroom.

Lovely hotel in a countryside setting. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable meals in a dining room with a nice ambience. Very handy if you are visiting Beamish Museum.

The Food and Staff were Excellent.

We had a downstairs room and were able to park the car right outside and use the patio door to access it which was very helpful. The breakfast was very good with a good choice and the food was cooked to order so it was hot. Our room was clean and quiet with the big bath sheets in the bathroom and nice toiletries. My only criticism is the complete lack of USB points and no power points by the bed.

Warm welcome, nice room, well appointed, but could do with air conditioning. Reception found a fan which was welcomed. Restaurant staff were warm, helpful and friendly, apart from the male wearing a white shirt and jeans who was abrupt. Restaurant surroundings were lovely and the food was nice. Would recommend

We enjoyed our stay at Beamish Park and will definitely stay again. The bed was so comfortable, if we could have brought it home we would ! The room was large with a large wardrobe and shelving which gave plenty of space to put items away leaving the room nice and uncluttered. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Julie who looked after us at breakfast.

The hotel is located approximately 2 miles from Stanley. It has allocated parking outside the room which is handy. We were booked in promptyl. The room was adequatley decorated, had a comfortable bed, good wifi, and the shower worked well. We had a good nights sleep but were woken up by the extractor fans for the kitchen at 05.50 in the morning. We ate dinner in the pub immediately opposite. The hotel wanted £12.50 per head for Breakfast whch we thought was a bit high. Overall a mid 3 star hotel

Hotel was good overall but due to current temperature ventilation was difficult at night due to only having a sliding door which on a ground floor provided a security risk I would recommend eating out as meals were expensive & quality was average to poor

The staff were all extremely polite and efficient, all areas I visited were clean and well maintained, I especially liked the ground floor room with patio door direct to parking for my motorcycle. I arrived on Sunday and had the Sunday Roast which was perfect and well priced. My entire stay was nothing short of perfection 👌

The staff were very helpful. The food was excellent. The room and bathroom was smart and clean. The large bed was very comfortable. There was a parking space by the room.

I had booked two nights for my Wife and I. However on the first night my Wife was ill and had nothing to eat. The next day she was hospitalised with a bad back. I then had to book a further two nights stay, on my own, B&B. I had in the previous booking paid £190 for us both but when they knew my Wife was in hospital the next two nights was £240. This despite her never having had a breakfast and me staying alone. I arguedand they knocked y down to £225. I just felt ripped off. The place is looking tired and I mentioned that the rear patio door needed oil, as I was struggling to open it, but nothing was done. Silly things like the silicon round the bath/shower needs to be replaced, and as always 4 tea bags for two doesn't cut it. However it was okay, and apart from the price increase it has good parking, and the cleaner was excellent. Wouldn't stay again though.

Lovely hotel and rooms with plenty of storage space. The rooms on ground floor have a parking space right outside with access via patio doors direct from the room which makes it easy to load/unload luggage. Bar area lovely for drinks. We didn't get chance to eat dinner at the restaurant but options on the menu looked nice. Breakfast was OK. Poached eggs tasted of vinegar but edible, bacon not too good but apart from that everything was exceptional and I would recommend staying here. Staff lovely and friendly Really close to Beamish museum which is what we came to see.

Nice clean hotel and friendly staff. Food was good, well prepared and always served hot. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t get any water in the shower. As we were only staying one night it wasn’t a major problem but it was a disappointment.

Parking excellent. Clean room ok. Apart from bed runner was dirty. And cushions. Spell off B/O. Not been washed. Cleaning staff was helpful. And friendly. (New lady) Dining roomStaff older lady was super friendly at breakfast but other lady not so much. See know other staff the whole time we was there. Breakfast was ok sausage was not good. Eve meal I had bar/bq steak. Which it was not it was very dry as not sauce on it. Could not have sauce that was on side as it was spicy can’t eat spicy food. I did tell the waitress and was told it was not. But it was. The onion rings I could off eaten them all day there were wonderful. Our room. Did NOT have aircon which we booked and paid for a room with that. We paid more but when we got talking to there’s our room was the same as there one but not a deluxe room. Our bed the mattress. Was really bad dipping all over the place. The pillows. Were terrible. The tea tray made us lol. 3 tea bags 2 coffee some sugar and 4 milk pots. ONE biscuit. Both with them and the restaurant. Seamed extremely tight. With everything. Tea cups eg dirty. Toast come out right away so by time you got food toast was cold and hard. Fruit and pastries. Just left on table with flys over it. Milk left out on table in a warm restaurant. And towel rail you can’t turn off AT ALL!! Which is ridiculousi. 25/28 heat. That I can’t understand. Need soft closing doors as doors banging shut.

Really good value property full of friendly staff, good breakfast, excellent dinner choices and a large upstairs room with a sofa and air con. Good location for walking at Causey Arch or visiting Beamish, as well as Durham.
