I had booked through Expedia which showed the room had a separate bedroom. When we got to our room there was no separate bedroom and when I asked the front desk staff about it I was told that there are no rooms in that hotel with a separate bedroom. The sofa bed didn't have any linens and it took two trips to get us everything that was needed.

I read a lot of reviews giving this place very poor ratings. So it was with great trepidation that we stepped through the doors. I even brought extra sheets and disinfectant spray along. But we must have got lucky with the room as it was OK. I pulled back the sheets expecting cockroaches to pool out but they looked clean, and after a nights stay, no bites. It is a low bar to base a review on but such is the state of accommodation in High Prairie. The bed was extra firm, similar to sleeping on a sheet of plywood with a thin padding. Lots of parking, with a view stretching past the dusty lot to encompass the stark but utilitarian UFA across the highway. We didn't have breakfast but the coffee was adequate.

The floor was dirty from other guests wearing muddy boots throughout the hotel. Other than that, great stay. Decent pub food, rooms were clean.

Very thing was as I would expect, nothing outstand but everything was good and staff was great.

No problems with the room. It was very adequate. Only issue we had was the initial checkin.

There was no cream for coffee in the breakfast area, or in your room.

Room was too dark not enough light in the room.

Stay 2 nights -Overall everything was okay. Staff didn’t greet you upon arrival or any other time we seen them. Bar/restaurant was okay-the beer that they advertised that evening that was on special they didn’t have any (not sure why you advertise if it’s not available).

It was a great experience and we enjoy our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food are very good. Our overall experience is excellent!

The only good thing i have to say is the lobby music was cool each time i passed through. Other than that it was a huge runaround to get checked in to the room i had booked. Blood in the sink in my first room. No bedbugs though so that was awesome.

This hotel was about our expectation. Everything was exceptional.

Everything was good - no complaints. Easy booking.

Rooms have been “updated” but still has older hotel/motel feel. Good enough for the price, not paying Big Bucks for a night. Lounge liquor seemed to be a little “watered” down, helpful to mention you want a full oz of liquor. Reasonable pricing though. Not sure about the wines, I don’t think a lot of choice. Lots of parking. Facing back of hotel so it was nice & quiet.

Overall our experience was good, the man that checked us in was pleasant and easy to deal with, our room was clean, beds were clean (blankets and sheets all pulled back to check for bugs) and A/C turned on so the room temp was comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good and a very friendly and helpful staff member, didn't get her name refilled anything low or out immediately, . The room cleaning for our second night was ok, one bed was kind of made and the other left alone, although the garbage was emptied the coffee and hot chocolate wasn't replenished for our second night and the breakfast was really good second time around. Normally, I don't take advantage of the housekeeping staff to fix my bed, clean up etc, on extended stays, this time was a rare one and sadly didn't meet expectations. Overall a very good stay!
