Great places near everywhere

Room had cockroaches and mold in the shower. Hard to overlook those two issues. Almost booked a different hotel, but wife convinced me to stick it out. They had a cappuccino machine in the room which was not plugged in and no outlet that I could find, I had to move it to the bathroom to plug it in. Very odd to have amenities with no outlet. Most of the staff was not super friendly, but that could be a general distaste for US travelers right now. Pool looked nice but we did not use it.

Room was very dirty, furniture was very dated. We had to sign an agreement to not flush any toilet paper. The room had a terrible smell. We were staying at the 2 bedroom room which was very dark. The 4 star rating of this hotel is extremely deceiving. In the US this is likely a 2-star rated hotel at most. Closest equivalent is a Motel 6. We decided not to stay the night

This hotel overall is very nice for business, is centric and easy to move to different locations in San Jose, the gym is a bit small but it works for a quick workout, the breakfast could be better, same options every day but it’s good, the rooms are clean and spacious, undoubtedly a great option in San Jose.

The worst room of the hotel, small, dark and with a bad smell. It was so nice the last time.

Breakfast consisted of a wide variety of food with a friendly staff aiming to please. The bartender didn't know how to make a negroni but learned quickly and my cocktail was delicious.

Hotel is OK, but the room is super dated, dirty, old mattress, no electrical outlet in the night table, not tv in the room. Living with very small TV and dinner chairs to watch TV. A full rip off of money.

Highly recommend this hotel. Clean, friendly and great restaurant and pool area

Sadly this was a funky, dirty and loud place. I had planned to lay by the pool. It was one family in there and they were screaming loud. The TV is very old with nothing to watch in English. (I had hoped for charming). Not much for suggestions or ideas on things to do or where to eat. I was disappointed in the breakfast. I moved to the Hilton and was very happy.

Señora Irene was outstanding. And all of her staff. My family and I had a great time at her establishment. The swimming pool was great/warm water. The best coffee!

My daughter and I absolutely loved KC Hotel San José! It is just like an oasis in the middle of the city. Nice atmosphere, with natural plants everywhere. People can enjoy a delicious food at the Baraka restaurant with a relaxing view to the swimming pool, which is also warm! The hotel has a Gym and offers spa services. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Amazing, friendly and helpful staff! I would stay again in my next visit to Costa Rica and recommend it 100%!

Everything was great, just sad since the main reason for booking the hotel was the pool and the heather wasn’t working so it was too cold for the little ones. Everything else was just perfect!

Limpieza pésima , todo muy sucio , ácaros en la cama , el desayuno feo . Es una lástima porque tiene buena ubicación necesita mejor mantenimiento.
