The hotel is located in the best area of Buenos Aires.

Carpets filthy in hallway. Clean ir replace. Looks tacky. Nice bar but not open? Gym needs universal machine to be fixed. Add some free weights that are more than 7,.5 lbs! I base my decision on hotels by bar and gym. Good enough for 1 or 2 nite stay. Could be a much better hotel if above issues addressed.

The experience did not meet the expectation

It's a fantastic, visually appealing boutique hotel where i re-upped for another three nights having already been there six. First rate service. It will be nice when the beautiful bar is again open. You're between a Four Seasons and Sofitel that charge five times the rate. And the neighborhood is beautiful and manageable on foot.

The property was being renovated but never got up to our floor yet. The room carpet were full of stain, broken tiles on the bathroom floors and walls.

I was expecting a better hotel

Perfectly located south of Recoletta; rooms are carpeted except a few and asked to switch to hardwood floors without a problem. Place needs a bit of a refresh but overall comfortable main areas and pool and gym. Service was superb and front desk staff go out of their way to help you with anything you need. Breakfast was amazing. Refurbished room was clean and super comfy. Would come back again.

Great Location Spacious Rooms Friendly and attentive staff. HOTEL has 2 very nice unique features too: One is an extensive book exchange library and a spa with an indoor pool and an excellent sauna

Carpets on floor old and dirty. Bathroom not so clean.

The bathroom shower and rug in the room can use a little upgrade but everything else was good. Good area, great staff , and easy place to walk around

Really great commitment from the whole team, worked to my schedule, always can back to my a beautifully presented room. Staff also helped me do some planning, and were perfect on taxi and wake-ups. Breakfast was lovely, and I found it hard to get out of the pool. The Libertad is perfectly located, so as to access Recoleta, Palermo, Centro, or the Ports, plus the hotel has a superb traditional grocer across the road. One the best I have stayed in for a long while.

Excellent

This is an overall great review particularly because of the good service we received. I had to book an extra night directly with the property. It was an "Executive Room". It was large but very old and dirty. The next morning I spoke with Ariel at the front desk and he accommodated us immediately in a newly renovated room which was cleaner and nicer. It was also a little bit smaller. Throughout our stay Ariel was very attentive and helpful with everything. Any requests were tended to within minutes. The hotel is in a very nice part of town (Recoleta) and it sits on a quiet street within walking distance of cafes, attractions, transportation. The bed is very comfortable and the amenities are adequate. The price is very good compared to the more "iconic" properties nearby. Breakfast is limited but good and includes eggs, fruits, pastries, coffee, juices, cereal and cheese.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and quite helpful. Had the hotel breakfast one day. Could have better coffee. Aired out our room when we arrived and that worked out well. Would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

I just miss the AC. It was a little warm and the AC would be great.
