The staff at reception are so friendly and helpful! I asked for late check out which was super easy to arrange. The apartment was light and breezy and incredibly comfortable. I was travelling alone and felt very secure with the locked garage and stairwells also. Location could not have been better! Once the car was parked I didn’t move it. Cafes, restaurants, Pacific Fair and the beach are all in easy walking distance! There is some construction at the moment and a school across the road and even with all the doors open I hardly noticed the sounds. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and laundry so perfect if travelling with kids or over a long period of time. I will definitely be returning!

The room I had was not the best - it wasn’t untill after I booked it that I found out about the building work that is going on around it . That said the apartment itself was spacious enough, the kitchen area worked well, the ac in the lounge area was great too. There is no ac in the bedroom but there is a ceiling fan which does a job and doesn’t dry you out overnight. My only real bugbear with the place was the windows, they are not double glazed so any noise from the street is very intrusive. The pool is small and only has a few loungers so be aware of that . parking is outstanding, The staff are really helpful and the location is great.

We had the best time Linda and Chris were just amazing, couldn't do enough for us We would definitely stay at Island Beach Resort. The next time we come to broadbeach, we just loved it there. We come to broadbeach a lot, but never stayed here before. But it's going to be our place to stay next time, we come And the price was amazing, too. I have 5 starred everything because for our needs on this trip Island Beach Resort was perfect. From the very comfortable King size bed to the location, which made attending appointments super easy or walking to the beach we were very happy with our stay and will book here again. We will also recommend IBR to anyone that may ask.

Such a great spot, 1 minute to the beach, 5 mins to the shops. Super chill location, nice and quiet at night. Comfy rooms, perfect all round
